I'm a huge fan of ghostface and i enjoyed the pretty tony album. Fishscale is nothing compared to his older releases, there are barely any decent beats and i feel that ghostface is slipping off of his game. Overall, "Fishscale" is strong, with archetypal beats creating the definitive Ghost. [1 Apr 2006]

He may not be reinventing himself, but as a must-hear street storyteller, he's still at the top of his game. [31 Mar 2006, p.64]
