    John - I am a big fan of Kasabian - I've eagerly gone out and bought some of their previous albums on release day before, and thoroughly enjoyed them. Unfortunately I am glad I didn't go out and buy For Crying Out Loud. A very disappointing effort from the lads from Leicester. There were a few tracks that did them justice (You're In Love With A Psycho, Ill Ray, Put Your Life On It) but onJohn - I am a big fan of Kasabian - I've eagerly gone out and bought some of their previous albums on release day before, and thoroughly enjoyed them. Unfortunately I am glad I didn't go out and buy For Crying Out Loud. A very disappointing effort from the lads from Leicester. There were a few tracks that did them justice (You're In Love With A Psycho, Ill Ray, Put Your Life On It) but on the whole, this was a very dull and uninspiring listen. Lyrically it wasn't as good as we've come to expect, and musically there wasn't much in the way of variation at all.

    It's sad that I've literally just listened to this and yet I can't remember what half of the tracks sounded like. I don't know what's happened with them on this record but it's just lacking the catchy hooks and melodies that make them Kasabian. All I can say is that I hope their next installment is better. Definitely not their best work, to say the least.

    Tilly - This was a very frustrating album. Aside from a couple of good-ish songs, it was just so bland! Kasabian are capable of so much more than this, as they've previously shown, but there wasn't really anything memorable about For Crying Out Loud at all. Lyricism is not exactly their speciality, but they left a lot to be desired on this record, and both vocally and instrumentally this was boring. You're In Love With A Psycho and Bless This Acid House are the only songs from this that I will even remember, let alone listen to again. I hope they come back as strong as ever with their next album and show that they haven't lost their touch, because currently it feels like they have.    … Expand
