It's a cover album (mostly Primus' songs) from the weird musical imagination of Les Claypool. And it's **** fantastic. I wasn't expecting too much from it to be honest, but the reimagining of those songs is absolutely amazing, the groove is exceptional.

Since only 42 seconds of the album is new material (the opening self titled track), it can, at times, feel redundant, almost unnecessary, but, with a musician of Claypool’s caliber, to see boundaries being pushed--and classics revisited--there is obvious value here. And, at the very least, it’s a hell of a lot of fun.

This is a one-joke album, but the joke is a good one, and more than a few bona fide country fans will be convinced.

Four Foot Shack provokes guffaws, in that hallucinogenic Claypool way, but its visceral blend of oddness and crassness leaves you with a stomach ache.
