    Hammond seems to have a new lease on life, and that ebullience and curiosity are very much what makes Francis Trouble such a thrilling listen.

    It’s hard to find fault with an album that feels so consistently representative of the mind that bore it. Francis Trouble is certainly Hammond finding a version of himself that’s pushing toward the future while never losing sight of who he really is.

    For anyone who loved AlbertHammond Jr.'s work with the Strokes, you'll probably enjoy this album a lot as well. Hammond isn't necessarilyFor anyone who loved AlbertHammond Jr.'s work with the Strokes, you'll probably enjoy this album a lot as well. Hammond isn't necessarily doing much different on this album but in terms of songwriting and consistency, this is a great album. Definitely worth a listen.
