  1. After a 34-minute art project that ended up a great album, a 17-minute EP ends up an art project.
  2. Alternative Press
    80
Parts of the result feel overly defensive and overly techno-y, but "Bang! Bang!" will blow your drawers off... [#155, p.85]
  3. Another smart, danceable collection of cultural subversion.
  4. There's still plenty of grating screaming and yelling on From the Desk of Mr. Lady, underscored by a strong punk ethos.
  5. Entertainment Weekly
    75
Features more punk polemics, rhythmic sound collages, and lo-fi gizmo music... [2/2/01, p.102]
  6. They do a good job of mixing humor and fun with their politics...
  7. Le Tigre deliver a new salvo of pro-woman political savvy on a traipsing train of New Wave punk and tinkertoy keyboards
  8. This disc may lack its predecessor's immediacy, but rarely has sophomore slump sounded like such success.
