    I enjoy Pinkshinyultrablast. The band does a good job sonically and musically taking pointers from early shoegaze legends like MBV, Ride, the Cocteau Twins, and especially Slowdive in their most pop-flavored days. Grandfeathered, coming so soon after their previous record, is being eaten up by shoegaze fans just like its predecessor, and with good reason. The production is spot-on and theI enjoy Pinkshinyultrablast. Grandfeathered, coming so soon after their previous record, is being eaten up by shoegaze fans just like its predecessor, and with good reason. The production is spot-on and the sound is like eating way too much candy at one time. However, I find little on this record that is musically adventurous or original. It is shoegaze_record_2.0, which is fine for big fans of the genre, but I have found myself drifting away from Grandfeathered on subsequent listens.
