Jul 22, 2012I think that this album is much better then the new one however not as good as the old one. It has a couple of good songs. It isn't the best album that maroon 5 has ever done but it isn't the worst. Overall, average album with average songs.

Jun 6, 2013I hate this album. I hate Maroon 5. I like 1 Maroon 5 song and that's because I heard it when I was 7. Now that I'm 16, I'm much smarter. maroon 5 is the epitome of bad pop music. They try to be a rock band and they're more of a mediocre band you hire for a wedding.

Oct 21, 2012Tracks like "Misery" remind me of the good stuff from "It Won't Be Soon Before Long", but most of "Hands All Over" is comprised of generic hooks, (only) decent vocals, and repetitive song structuring throughout the album.

It's an accomplished record for singer Adam Levine and his faceless group, even if the whole affair sometimes sounds clinical in its approach.
-
Hands All Over won't fulfill Levine's ambition to redefine Maroon 5's identity: If anything, it only steers the band further from the potential suggested by their 2002 debut, Songs About Jane.

Levine and crew could be blue-eyed-soul godheads, the 21st-century Hall and Oates. But they need to loosen up first.
