The low points are so few-and-far-between that they’re nearly forgotten once you get to the zesty, one-two punch finale of “Rollercoaster” and “Comeback.”

Happiness Begins feels immediate in way so many big pop albums of the twilight of the 2010s do not, but individual tracks are crafted to slide onto as many cross-genre play lists as possible.

The album loses some momentum around the more generic “Strangers”. But even with that song, the harmonies are hard to resist. It’s the best pop comeback – and likely one of the best pop albums – of the year.

Despite not being the most innovative pop record in 2019. ... Happiness Begins is the best effort the brothers have put forth in their career together or separately.

Happiness Begins is by no means an extraordinary album, but it’s a respectable showing from a group that has long deserved more respect than they’ve received.

This album is interesting in that it is so much of the brothers but such different souls on the album than what we knew before this album. This album is interesting in that it is so much of the brothers but such different souls on the album than what we knew before this album. They bare their souls on this album and it speaks on the ups and downs of general life as a band that couldn’t quite find the exact right way or sound to come back with, it talks about the love they have for their wives, and even the Rollercoaster that was their lives before the Happiness Begins again. Being a dedicated fan from the beginning, I was so nervous to hear what they came back with, but they exceeded my expectations and quite honestly, this is now the soundtrack of summer! Enjoy this album we’ve waited forever for. Full Review »

Hapiness Begins is the first Jonas Brothers album in 10 years and it really showed how they grew.

What a comeback! This album shows how much the Jonas Brothers evolved individually but also as a band in the past 10 years. You can clearlyWhat a comeback! This album shows how much the Jonas Brothers evolved individually but also as a band in the past 10 years. You can clearly see the DNCE and Nick Jonas solo music influences but they somehow succeeded in making it very Jonas Brothers! Their new sound is more pop and R&B infused and definitely much more radio friendly than before. I love that the album starts with such fun & light summer tracks and ends with deeper and emotional ones. It makes you happy, dance, it makes you sad, it makes you cry... It's everything I could ask for. This album is one of the best pop albums released in last couple of years and I'm so excited to see what they will come up with next! Full Review »
