a banging collection of hard grimy songs that shows the sides of living the streets with the seasoning that only Vince excels at which is showing knowledge of the repercussion caused by the lifestyle he chose.

Not my first introduction to Vince Staples. I listened to the mixtape he did with Mac Miller, a mixtape that Vince says he was never serious about when making it. Also "Nate" song off his solo mixtape I really liked. Hell Can Wait is like a mini-bio that comes before thee critical acclaimed album Summertime 06. With music today you can't keep up. The songs that drawn me to the EP was easily Blue Suede just the beat alone you know it's some WC-ish. So yeah this was a tone setter.

Favorites: Blue Suede*, 65 Hunnid and Screen Door.

Wish it wasn't so short but it sure is fire.I really enjoyed the different flows he had in this album like Limos and 65 Hunnid. A really overlooked rapper, can't wait til he blows up.

Vince Staples is glowing with potential on this EP. He understand how to make hooks that are catchy but not 2 chains simple. The flow is ok. even though the pace and intensity of the flow does not change too much from song to song. His biggest issue is lyrical complexity. There is just not enough content on there to carry the whole album. Yet, in all, this is easily top 10 albums thisVince Staples is glowing with potential on this EP. This album, I see, as more of a raising action in his career than a climax. Collapse

With Hell Can Wait, he inches logically towards a modernisation of the chaotic wall of noise formula that defined Public Enemy than immediately pulls back from it. [Nov 2014, p.76]

He makes his points quickly and it feels like a small but potent dose of reality.

Hell Can Wait is a dense and rewarding EP from a rapper who is refreshingly serious about his craft.
