    Franz Ferdinand’s potential is repeatedly hinted at rather than fully realized. If this career shortcut can give us any consolation, it’s that it’s better to show potential than to have none at all.

    It is a good compilation of the best of Franz Ferdinand, it rescues the best of each album, also the songs added are quite good, mainly curious

There is a nice mix from all their albums although as is always the case with such compilations, you could argue for the inclusions of a few tracks over others. I'd probably have added "Jacqueline" and "Eleanor Put Your Boots On" to this myself but the playlist they went with flows well. In terms of the new tracks, "Curious" is decent, "Billy Goodbye" less so. The collection shows that the band didn't vary too much but were pretty sharp at their brand of art pop.… Full Review »
