I would be surprised if this isn't the best album of 2023 as early as this obviously is in the year. Incredible music, lyrics and an impeccably engineered recording. For multi-channel audio fans like me, this is among the best Dolby Atmos recordings ever made. Care was taken in all aspects of this recording.

Ich hab Samia bei Live at Lightning 100 performen sehen, sie hatte einen Topflappen auf, die Frau hat Charisma und ist enorm sexy, ich möchte ihr nur ganz tief in die Augen schauen und Babys mit ihr machen.

Early album of the year with Yachty. Sea lion's production is POLIÇA level.

Samia really progresses on her second album. She brings a collage of fresh sounds with a mixture of genres. And her lyrics reflect a more confident and introspective voice.

The album’s more pleasing songs, like “Charm You” and “Honey,” are campfire ditties with rich, inviting harmonies. These brief moments of levity suggest that, in the face of existential dread, maybe it is more rewarding to sing with the people you love than about them.

If The Baby announced Samia as a vocalist and songwriter to watch, Honey makes it clear that we’ll be watching her for a long time. With ample self-awareness and a keen sense of the surreal, Samia has delivered a sonically dynamic voyage through the monstrous and merciful extremes of intimacy.

‘Honey’ pivots between lyrical complexity and spartan, but endlessly pretty arrangements.
