Sep 13, 2015I like the first tracks, they are wonderful. And Jess voice is amazing! I'm not a huge fan of her music, but british artists are way better than americans (the most of the times).

Jan 24, 2016This album isn't awful but it certainly could be better I had high hopes after hearing that she had achieved several UK number ones before its release but it did disappoint a bit but I think she can improve and release some interesting work in the future.

Jan 4, 2016Dissapointing for a woman with such an amazingly erratic voice. I think she could do well moving in a more Florence and the Machine-like direction. The album is too unfocused and the lyrics are weak. I don't think the type of music she is making does her justice. I will wait for the next one

Nov 30, 2016A good start for her. Only one thing that get me bored of her album is her voice that does not unique and should be remembered or addicted like other world class artist.
My Top 3;
1. Ain't Got Far to Go
2. Saddest Vanilla
3. Don't Be So Hard on Yourself -

Sep 15, 2015There’s no question that Jess Glynne is a very good singer, but her debut proves her best work thus far is on songs that aren’t even hers.
-
Sep 10, 2015Glynne’s first solo album (which has already hit No. 1 in the UK) is a bit all over the place stylistically, but flaunts her formidable pipes and undeniable talent for injecting a lyric with vulnerability.

Q MagazineAug 25, 2015Glynne's voice is a powerful weapon to secure audience submission, yet it quickly becomes a weak link, making Florence Welch sound like Vashti Bunyan. [Sep 2015, p.112]
