It's so good to notice how P!nk has become a woman after these years. The previous albuns were really good, but with I'm not dead, P!nk show to the world that her voice matters more than we expect from a pop singer

P!nk just keeps on getting better and better. This is her fourth album and her best yet. This is because of both her music and powerful lyrics (Dear Mr. President almost made me cry). The songs are also really diverse with some great ideas for songs. Conversations With My 13 Year Old Self was very unique in its idea, and I thought it had a fun way of describing regret. There wasn’t any song in particular that I didn’t like, though I was expecting The One Who Got Away to be more emotionally charged than it was, and I Got Money now was okay, but not as good as some of the others in the album. I did really like a huge number of the songs in I’m Not Dead. I’m excited to listen to P!nk’s next album, as they keep getting better as time goes on, and she has done a great job so far. Highlights: Stupid Girls, Who Knew, Long Way to Happy, Dear Mr. President, I’m Not Dead, ‘Cuz I Can, Leave Me Alone, Runaway, and Centerfold.

P!nk is definitely not dead. Although the album didn't win any awards and almost failed to make any impact, Pink's hard work paid off and it went on to sell millions around the globe and it had a few hits. It's a great pop record with various styles and really cool lyrics. Perhaps, P!nk's best album.

This album is P!nk at her best. This album is a fantastic rejuvenation from the rather disappointing Try This because the album has depth and meaning. Who Knew which is easily one of the strongest songs on the album is this because of the meaning behind it. Like the titles states- P!nk is not dead.

One of P!nk's defining albums. It's got her prints all over it. It's fun, it's loud, it's beautiful and it's utterly likeable. She's both alternative, and mainstream - that in itself should be commended.

I'm Not Dead is P!nk's best album. It's honest, relatable, and meaningful record that you'll never get sick of. Fantastic album, as expected from the brilliant pink. The album has a edgy and brilliant sound too it, the songs are all very good and have soul. The best songs are who knew, u+ur hand, stupid girls, leave me alone i'm lonely, cuz i can and i got money now.

Such an amazing album, seriously there is not one bad song. P!nk knows how to write and sing music in an era where the new artist just rely on auto tune and other people to write their music. P!nk deserves a lot more credit and recognition then she is given.

An extraordinary good album for pop standards. P!nk's got punky songs and deeper ones, always sung good with decent lyrics. She mixes the music for the radio with the meaningful stuff (Dear Mr. President, Nobody Knows) with the entertaining radio stuff (U + Ur Hand, Fingers) and hence "I'm Not Dead" is a good album. But it's no 8 or 9 or 10 - it would need a lot more to get such a rating...

    1. Stupid Girls - This song is mean. That's a fact. I understand the intent, and I respect the attempt to share her opinion on the matter, but I really think she went a little bit far with this song, and she crossed the line with the video. The song itself isn't bad. It's catchy, but the lyrics are too much. 3.5/5

The song itself isn't bad. It's catchy, but the lyrics are too much. 3.5/5

    2. Who Knew - Without doubt, Who Knew is the best song on the album. It's really beautiful and shows off her softer side. I remember listening to this song on the radio when i was like, 8. Who knew that one day, I'd love it as much as I do. It's just... amazing. It's one of the best songs of all time. 5/5

    3. Long Way to Happy - It's a cool song. I love the chorus. It's more countryish-rock that most of the CD. It has a really great vibe. I love the instermental in it. It's not anything special, though. It really gets overshadowed by the rest of the CD. 3.5/5

    4. Nobody Knows - It's a really strong ballad. Everything about it is great. It has so much power to it. Her vocals are amazing here. 4/5

    5. Dear Mr. President - Lots of controversy over this track. No matter your political party, you really have to think about the lyrics for a minute. They don't really do anything to offend republicans. It could apply to any president. It really describes why I will never be president. 4/5

    6. I'm Not Dead - Her album titles always seem to be some of the weaker songs on the album. I could think of a better album name. That being said, this is a little better than her other title tracks, but still overshadowed by the rest of the CD. It's just not my cup of tea. 3/5

    7. Cuz I Can - This is one of the more generic songs on the CD. I try to stay away from generic music, but Cuz I Can is pretty catchy. It's got a really powerful beat. The lyrics are well written, but the message is messy. 3.5/5

    8. Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely) - The best track since Who Knew. The chorus is super catchy & fun, but it's not generic at all. It's got nice lyrics, too. It's one of those songs that make you want to dance and all that. 4.5/5

    9. U + Ur Hand - One of the standouts. The chorus is one of the best on the album. The verses are pretty weak though. It's a really fun track. It'll def make you dance. 4/5

    10. Runaway - Runaway is one of the best songs on the CD. Everything about it is absoulutely flawless. It has really nice lyrics. The beat is a little slow, but it's not bad. The chorus is to die for. It's not upbeat, but it's really nice and one of the best on the CD. 5/5

    11. The One That Got Away - The album goes acoustic for TOTGA. Not sure about it though. The lyrics are nice, but "He made cappactinos, what kind of man makes cappatinos?" Really? I know she can do better than that. It's really nice, though. 3.5/5

    12. I Got Money Now - I'm not sure if putting this after The One That Got Away was a good idea. It might get a little boring by this point. It's more R&Bish than the rest of the CD. I'm not sure the point of the song. She has money now, so everything is okay? Doesn't sound like the message I'd expect from her. Anyways, it's an okay song. 3/5

    13. Conversations With My 13 Year Old Self - It's such a beautiful song. It's really sad, and I think she did a great job with it. It's really haunting, and one of the best songs on the CD. 5/5

    14. I Have Seen The Rain - The song means a special meaning to her, so I think it does have its place on the CD. Acoustic songs aren't her high point. The lyrics are really nice, though. 3.5/5

    15. Heartbreaker - Leaving this off of the standard edition was a mistake. It's better than most of the songs that did make the standard album. It's got a great rock style to it. 4/5

    16. Centerfold - It's a great song, and I would have rather seen this than any of the acoustic music. It's not catchy, but rock isn't made to be catchy. 4/5

    17. Fingers - What's with that music? If you pitched it, it could be a Britney Spears song. Fortunately, I'm a huge Britney fan, and Britney def does clubby songs better. P!nk should stick to rock-pop, as that's what she does best.

She's not bad at this Pop-Rock For Teenage Girls caper, I just wish she hadn't abandoned R&B completely. It is what it is, though. I'm Not Dead incorporates a nice balance of risque subjects, anger, childishness, melodrama, finger-pointing, vulnerability and tunes.

Brilliant album! Pink is an amazing singer and writer. While there are a few weak points, they are completely overshadowed by the amazing song. In Australia, I'm Not Dead has been in the top 20 for over 80 weeks in a row and counting. The public can't be wrong.

An engaging listen. Another solid record from Pink, which with 3 already under her belt, is an accomplishment. Some of the songs sound a little too Kelly Clarkson-esque... uncomfortably manufactured for someone whose entire image is based on the rebellion against such prefabricated pop. They aren't necessarily bad songs, but they do seem to be tremulously hanging on the edge of mediocrity.

PS: Just a cool fact about the song 'Dear Mr. President'...Did you know that P!NK was only allowed to play it on one TV show in the United States (Jimmy Kimmel Live). No other TV stations allowed it becasue of its criticism of our President. P!NK herself says she doesn't want it to becaome a single because commercialism would make the song lose its meaning, however she sings the song in other countries such as Germany and Australia. While Stupid Girls is great, and a few of the other tracks really stand out (especially the folk-y numbers that oddly work), too much of the album sounds like Kelly Clarkson.

Pink's best CD yet! Loving her, she rocks out. She has talent coming out of every pore. She is dynamic, funny, extremely versatile, and poignantly vulnerable.

frankly, i think pink is a trash bag of an artist. not to say that this album is completely horrible, but it doesn't stand out. she's just another chick who thinks she's so tough-ass when she isn't. the only song of her's that i ever liked was "just like a pill". that's it.

I'd never heard any of Pink's (excuse me, P!nk) music when I purchased I'M NOT DEAD on the off-chance yesterday. Not only am I a sucker for amazing cover art, but hearing some of the reviews (especially the Rolling Stone review where she's compared to Madonna and Courtney Love) perked my interest to no end. I bought this at the same time that I bought Lacuna I'd never heard any of Pink's (excuse me, P!nk) music when I purchased I'M NOT DEAD on the off-chance yesterday. Not only am I a sucker for amazing cover art, but hearing some of the reviews (especially the Rolling Stone review where she's compared to Madonna and Courtney Love) perked my interest to no end. I bought this at the same time that I bought Lacuna Coil's KARMACODE, and honestly, I expected that to be the better CD-boy was I wrong. By the end of the night, I had determined KARMACODE an Evanescence clone, and I"M NOT DEAD to be a ballsy, well-thought out, clever, and boisterously great record. "Dear Mr. President" leaves P!nk's political views up to no interpretation, and gives even Garbage's "Metal Heart" and Juliette Lewis' "American Boy vol2" a run for their money in terms of lyrical deftness; while it might not be the deepest track here, "Cuz I Can" showcases one of P!nk's most valuable assets-the ability to mock even herself and her fiery ambition, and it makes the track work far better than if she were taking her words too seriously; "U+Ur Hand" is a thoroughly rude kissoff to a horny bastard in a bar; first single "Stupid Girls" denounces well, stupid girls, but uses wit to scathe them rather than fury: "What happened to the dream of a girl president?/She's dancing in a video next to 50 Cent...Disasters all around/A world of despair/ Your only concern is 'will it fuck up my hair?' ". Even the tracks that don't seem quite right at first grow on you and the misses blossom into gems. But not to worry-those are few and far between. Just as Shakira did last year with her ORAL FIXATION set, P!nk is almost certainly destined to be the pop artist of the year, and she's the girl who won't just have the most cake-she'll demand it be triple chocolate mousse. This is not one of her best albums. This IS her best album! Way to go P!nk! Every song is listenable and worth multiple plays, her voice is better than ever, and the lyrics are very personal, but great at the same time.

This is by far her best work. Who Knew is a track that could easily rival "Since You Been Gone" As one of the best songs in recent years. "Dear Mr. President" is a ballsy move. Hat's off to her for using HER voice to speak to millions. "I'm Lonely" is another brilliant piece of pop fluff, and it melts on the ears beautifully the way well written pop should. I'm not really a pink fan, never really paid much attention to her before. However, I advise people to ignore these bad reviews; especially New York Times because they no nothing about music anyway. Read allmusic.com's review. This is a refreshing pop album, right up their with the underated Shakira album, actually probably better.

A great cd, standout tracks that can rock any room. A cut above all of the other pop vixens, as pink has the attitude to back up her bravado. She goes all out and makes a splendid and unapologetic jab at the White House, Bush, more specifically. She shows that she can have great pop instincts as well with tracks that one up Kelly Clarkson's massive 2nd album. Pink, is here to stay. A great cd, standout tracks that can rock any room. Even her misses are ballsier and blusterier than most everybody else's recent hits. [7 Apr 2006, p.58]
