  • Summary: Leslie Feist, Joan Jett, Josh Homme and Beth Ditto are among the guests on the electro-sleaze (and we mean that in a good way) artist's third LP.

There's more meat on this album's bone than on the laughable Fatherfucker. [#21, p.99]
  2. 'Impeach My Bush' is no great sonic leap forward, but it is a near-perfect distillation of Peaches' "thing".
  3. On 'Impeach My Bush', Peaches has significantly upped her game with a greater leap from 'Fatherfucker' than there was between that album and debut 'The Teaches Of Peaches'.
  4. Impeach My Bush is Peaches' best effort yet.
  5. Her big sense of humor and little sense of shame should help keep "Impeach" in rotation for incumbent spins.
  6. Impeach My Bush is without a doubt her most competent record yet... But it also seems not to trust itself, always returning to the obvious tricks, making things right rather than keeping them as disorientingly rough-edged as her debut.

Never transcends the level of a cheeky bumper sticker. [Aug 2006, p.82]

Ironacly the metacritic rating is 69, which though low, might be the perfect rating for a peaches album. Lots of sleaze and very entertaining album.

Peaches controversial title "impeach my bush" is covering political ground such as on it opening track. However I think they are at their Peaches controversial title "impeach my bush" is covering political ground such as on it opening track. However I think they are at their best when going party trash electronic rap on "tent in your pants." Overall, the album is unfocused and has only one good single with "tent in your pants." Expand

The mix of electronica and rock here gives the lyrics maximum effect. And she has a powerful voice. But I'm not an electronica fan, and The mix of electronica and rock here gives the lyrics maximum effect. And she has a powerful voice. But I'm not an electronica fan, and the lyrics do get repetitive. I'd like her to focus on her rock side and have more varied lyrics. Expand
