In My Defense é a personificação do seu próprio estilo, o álbum é diferente de qualquer lançamento por uma rapper feminina. Com batidas silenciosas, seus vocais ganham grande destaque no material, o que será um belo desafio no palco. O visual como sempre está impecável, osIggy voltou completamente diferente do primeiro álbum, poucos são os artistas que se arriscam a mudar tanto.     She's comming back, after years stucked into bad moments, totally indie! She has her own label, her own way to promote her stuff and she's amazing in what she does. Unfortunatelly a bunch of tiny asses came here and said "ewn lemme rate her new work as a piece of s**t because I want new stuff but not in the way that she proceeds."
    In My Defense is poetry. Which deserves attention and support. Azalea becamed wiser in each track of the album. Always giving the gays™ what they wanted to. I loved this album at once and I'll love it twice.

    Álbum perfeito. Iggy vem se superando a cada lançamento e mostrando ainda mais seu potencial. O álbum segue muito a sonoridade de seus lançamentos de 2012, 2013. Thanks I Get e Clap Back são a prova de que ela tem flow e não precisa de refrões genéricos e forçados pra hit.

    “In My Defense” is definitely one of my favorite rap album of all time. Iggy showed amazing and tremendous growth and improvement from her past album “The New Classic.” Although that album is indeed a classic, I think IMD is coming for its title as Iggy’s best work. Almost every single track in the album is dark, aggressive, and very fun all at the same time. I love it. Bravo, Iggy!

    It is an excellent comeback album, she spoke a little bit about her personal stuff (which she didn’t have to AT ALL) it’s none of our business. But aside from that al songs are catchy and very in tune with current trends, which is also fine, not every work of art has to be revolutionary, it’s fine to just stick with the times and current music genre. ICONIC music videos too!

    Si que es cierto que se esperaba un par de canciones que estuvieran más acorde con el título y el concepto del álbum (más del estilo de "Thanks I Get" y "Clap Back") con letras en las que ella se pronuncie sobre las críticas, ataques y contratiempos que se han presentado a lo largo de su carrera a través de un rap agresivo y rápido, sin embargo In My Defense es uno de los mejores álbumes de lo que va del año con canciones que aunque repetitivas se logran quedar pegadas en la mente con facilidad, con sonidos que están en tendencia y con letras que hablan de los temas más importantes en la sociedad actual como el flexin' o el sexo de una manera muy catchy. Sin duda es un álbum contemporáneo a el momento en el que se encuentra el rap, debido principalmente a J White Did It, único productor de este trabajo al cual se le agradece este giro en la música de Iggy con respecto a su álbum debut The New Classic, evidenciando la evolución de la rapera no sólo en sonido, también como persona podemos percibir a una Iggy más madura, más segura y a veces hasta jocosa.     I feel this was the perfect type of Album for her return to the public eye. Lots of catchy songs to get ready to. I loved some of the more personal introspective ones like ‘thanks I get’ and ‘clap back’. My favourite is ‘Started’ the bad **** energy it gives off is electric. I understand what some people don’t like about the album but I honestly feel if you are still a fan after everythingI feel this was the perfect type of Album for her return to the public eye. Lots of catchy songs to get ready to. I loved some of the more personal introspective ones like ‘thanks I get’ and ‘clap back’. My favourite is ‘Started’ the bad **** energy it gives off is electric. I understand what some people don’t like about the album but I honestly feel if you are still a fan after everything she has been through you should thoroughly enjoy her new direction.

    An album named 'In My Defense' — only Iggy Azalea will do this. Album full of bops, there is a few other things that I dislike — "Big Bag", the song itself has no power, and the last song. I didn't like "P**sy Pop" but I didn't dislike it. It's an okay song but has no rights for being the ending of the album. Middle of the album is fun and she just let the album fade with the tracklisting.

    Iggy Azalea has a album full of bangers! My only dislike is if she had more songs speaking of her recent struggles with her ex engagement, label issues, cultural appropriation, etc.

    Nobody expected Azalea to come back super talented and with an entirely new shtick. Nonetheless, In My Defense could have been a tad bit more introspective or at the very least, fun.

    The album is stacked with cartoonish approximations of what she thinks a rap song should sound like: shivers of bass, the occasional “skrrrt,” Mad Libs of designer brands and bodily fluids. Many sound like direct imitations of the rappers she admires.
