As músicas continuam com bastante qualidade, assim como os clipes, com batidas contagiantes que nos fazem querer dançar, refrões chicletes que, mesmo que você seja uma pessoa que não saiba falar a língua inglesa, não sairão de jeito algum da sua cabeça por serem fáceis de se pronunciar, uma sonoridade mais hip-hop/rap mas sem perder sua essência mais dançante.     Azaleia comes back from the ashes and brings to the public a cohesive album with songs similar to his early works. No doubt In My Defense is a complete album. The aesthetics of the album carry the bad times it has gone through. Iggy is back

    simply one of my favorites of the year, thanks to its fun and carefree nature. the lyrics may disappoint a bit if you go by the album title, but isn’t she allowed to talk some nasty **** as long as she is happy and satisfied with her material? that’s what i think about it, the chronicles of happiness and satisfaction of a rich woman!

    e algumas até bem inovadoras para o gênero
    (Comme De Garçons, Hoemita e Just Wanna), clipes
    maravilhosos, mesmo tendo seus pontos fracos
    (P*ssy Pop) isso não justifica de maneira alguma
    essa nota... esse album é um salto de qualidade em
    relação ao antigo e merece seu reconhecimento...
    bem coerente e divertido... Iggy Azalea trouxe um
    dos meus albums de Rap/Trap favoritos sem exagero

    Album 100% full of rap & bops. Might be repetitive at some points but Iggy really shows her bars and energy here. Perfectly cohesive.

    I love this album! It was about time for her to release another one. I've been watching her fight to release a new album since Digital Distortion. It's very good for an independent artist. Congrats Iggy!

    Iggy came back after 5 years with a fresh and creative album. She doesn’t care about haters anymore and she focus only on her own self and her new and fantastic life. After 2015, which was a hard year for her, she is finally happy again and she’s CONFIDENT!

    I'm my defense is the perfect "comeback", since she's been here all along but you locals didn't notice all because of stupid rumors, sexism and a **** label, but this is the past, now iggy is free, indie with her own label, basically this record is a combination of hip hop in its finest with freedom, love and happiness, so no critic or award can take that away from her.     Nobody expected Azalea to come back super talented and with an entirely new shtick. Nonetheless, In My Defense could have been a tad bit more introspective or at the very least, fun.

    The album is stacked with cartoonish approximations of what she thinks a rap song should sound like: shivers of bass, the occasional “skrrrt,” Mad Libs of designer brands and bodily fluids. Many sound like direct imitations of the rappers she admires.
