"I hate everybody, because everybody hates me" the album. With a few standout tracks, Kamikaze isn't the worst album Eminem has released, but it is far from being one of the best.

Best track: Lucky You (feat. Joyner Lucas)
    Worst track: Normal
    Best feature: Joyner Lucas

Amazing. Better than the 2016 Kendrick album in my opinion. It's still played af in Europe and I love it. 10/10 for me.

Accept it. Eminem's still relevant. Probably more relevant than your favorite rapper. Don't cry. This album still a banger after almost 5 years and there's nothing you can do about it.

Eminem is here to remind everyone who he is
    Another classic for the ages
And a reminder that music is subjective the so called YouTube critic talk for clout nothing else

when it dropped it was great 8/10 but like a lot of Eminem tracks/albums it aged like milk and really showed the petty soft side to Eminem

this album was super good. Eminem was pissed of from the ratings on revival so he just came at everyone and absolutely destroyed the whole industry.

This album is very good with lyrics and flows and does a good job at dissing disrespectful rappers of cliched and unskilled lyricism, but the lowlights are songs where Eminem is sour and bitter about what people though of his worst project, Revival. Still, the album has good disses and it is surprising the small time frame the album was made in.

Sure there are some good songs on this, but i think if 'Revival' wouldn't have had the negative reviews it had, we probably never heard this record right here. Songs like 'Fall' or 'Lucky You' were quite nice, i'm actually not a fan of "Venom", like not at all, the lyrics aren't the best and the beat is really hard to get through actually. Not pretty much my thing, such as the most of the other tracks too. Expand

This album is decent. It has many great songs but also it contains some really bad ones like Nice Guy, Normal and Venom.
Best songs: The Ringer, Not Alike, Greatest, Fall
    Worst songs: Nice Guy

A mediocre album from Eminem. His rapping feels kind of stale by this point, and his references are getting a little dated. It's not bad, but definitely not his best. I liked the song Venom, even though that song got some backlash.

I came back to this album a second time, and while my first listen was trash, i think it was because i wanted it to be trash. I wanted Eminem to fail. But now i can deny his godlike rhyme schemes.

Kamikaze is a return to for from Eminem. After releasing the horrible 'Revival' in 2017, Eminem returns and hits back at critics with 'Fall, Lucky You' and goes after the **** new wave rappers which are somehow dominating the industry. Eminem with another classic.

Eminem is back with a response album after the utterly disappointing and infamous Revival. He is certainly more hungry and hits the mark more often than not this time around. Eminem is at his best writing with his back against the wall

Definitely not a Bad album, but nowhere near as good as many people make it out to be, most of these song are kind of average by Eminem standards, with only one song being amazing in my opinion, that being Lucky You. Not to mention it has Nice Guy and Kamikaze which are just bad songs, and you can't really argue otherwise.

Wow. This is one of Eminem’s worst projects to date. It’s awful. Awkward flows, terrible beats, I could on and on. But honestly this album doesn’t deserve any more of my attention, which is why this review ends here. 2/10. Definitely would not recommend.

It was almost impossible to recover from an album as disgusting as Revival but the rap god claimed his title back with this masterpiece. Few tracks and more bars, kinda like illmatic of 2018.

An incredible show case of lyrical ability, absolutely shut down all the critics.
This album shows Eminem going back to his roots, going back to what made him him.
Em is at his best when he’s angry and I’d put this album up there with some of his best work.

It is an extremely good album, this angry Eminem is so much better than REVIVAL Eminem and MMLP2
His writing is amazing and lands every time, the beat is more modern which is good, it shows he is evolving and how he uses these beats better than the new gen of rappers, Best songs are all of them except for normal, Nice guy and good guy. I am tired of the relationship songs, He says sorry

(Not better than MMLP)

I didn't realize it when this thing dropped, but it does kinda suck. It's miles better than Revival, but quite frankly, it's still not good enough to be considered good. It's a 45 year old man screaming his heart out at people for disliking his at the time newest album. It WAS bad. Everybody who said it was said it rightfully so. Eminem should stop dropping albums if they're going to be like this, because this won't do his legacy any good other than cementing him as a rapper that became corny and old. Expand

Kamikaze has clever word-plays,impressive flows and flow changes, aggressive, entertaining and direct disses, impressive rhyme schemes. It has also a heartwarming song Stepping Stone and .the only issue with the album is the weak hooks in a few songs. An album from the master of craft.

Eminem fans will defend every new thing that he will drop no matter how bad it is, even the disaster that was "Revival" got defended by them. Not to say that Revival was well-recieved even by them. People look up to him for the music he used to make and now refuse to admit that he's changed for the worse, so they will take everything that is even slightly better than Revival. TheEminem fans will defend every new thing that he will drop no matter how bad it is, even the disaster that was "Revival" got defended by them. Not to say that Revival was well-recieved even by them. People look up to him for the music he used to make and now refuse to admit that he's changed for the worse, so they will take everything that is even slightly better than Revival. The production and writing on Kamikaze are the worst offenders, the production being a mix of his old things, synthy bass sounds, and trap drums and 808's. These all sound like they would make for a fresh take on the old Eminem, but the just add up to a big mess. The writing tries to come off as clever and smart but ends up making Eminem sound annoying and corny. Em centres the whole album about dissing people and the bad change that hip-hop has had in the last few years, giving the spotlight to rappers like Lil Pump and Lil yachty, and while I certainly do not like mumble rap, Eminem comes off as whiney and repetitive. In the mix of people he disses he throws in people who critiqued him in the past, and while the disses and mumble rappers, while repetitive, do have a point. On the other hand, disses on the artists that critiqued him like Tyler, the creator come off as lines he threw in because he didn't have enough people to actually diss. These disses are often pointless and overly aggressive for no reason. The vocals on Kamikaze are a mixed bag. While the flows Eminem presents are innovative and are the best part of the album, the grind in his voice and the aggressiveness of it are just annoying and overly-angry. But I do have to give it to him that He still definitely can rap very fast just like he is known to. Eminem has lost all of the things that people appreciated in him when he just got into the rap game, his cartoony sense of humour, his sharp writing, and the sense of atmosphere in his albums. Now his songs just forget to be songs and are just places for him to complain. Expand

This album serves to remind the entire hip-hop genre who's boss. Does he sound bitter? Yes. Does that matter? No. And besides... we like it when he gets angry.

Kamikaze finds Marshall Mathers revelling in his Slim Shady rabid underdog role, fulminating at critics, boggling at Lil Yachty, and sneering at the Migos flow on Not Alike. How riveting all this finger-wagging is probably depends upon your birth date.

Fans clamoring for the old Marshall Mathers should stream the old album or hell, rent it from the library or something. After being faced with nothing to prove as the highest-selling rapper of all-time, Eminem’s found another challenge in perfecting the new style he’s put on display.

As sheer performance, Eminem's vocals remain a thing of wonder, which is why it's so dispiriting to hear him circling the drain, relying on old tricks instead of expanding his worldview. He has the musical skills to mature; he's just refusing to let himself act his age.
