  1. Effortlessly mixing gangsta rap, lascivious odes to pimping, and underground-style consciousness, Kamikaze feels eclectic without stooping to demographics-pandering, though its contradictory elements create a few jarring moments.
  2. Twista here proves that he's a big dog, worthy of major-league status, officially escaping the label of novelty act.
  3. 80
There’s plenty of impressive tongue-twisting here, but as the re-working of ‘Feel So Good’ illustrates, he’s even more impressive when he slips down a gear to work the ladies.
  4. The good humor and easier tempos also make Twista’s forays into Guinness World Record speed more effective, even if manic window-rattlers like “Kill Us All” seem a bit predictable once you’ve heard his latest, slowed-down twist.
  5. It's overlong, like almost every rap album today, and it's not the sort of place to come expecting erudition or insight. But for one singular rapper unwilling and unafraid to stick to his guns, it's a deeply satisfying record.
  6. Obviously, Twista's not breaking down any walls with his wordplay on Kamikaze, but along the way he kicks over a few garbage cans while letting Kanye West, Toxic and the rest of his production crew move some crowds and elevate their status, one slow jam at a time.
  7. Suggests nothing so much as Adrenaline Rush part two.

A real dissapointment, complete sell out. I hate the lure of the mainstream, and Twista has gone straight down that road. If you want to A real dissapointment, complete sell out.
