Dec 7, 2015Her last album, 2014's Kiss Me Once, felt unfortunately cheesy at times, so it's a pleasant surprise to find Minogue playing to her strengths here.

Nov 16, 2015Throughout the album, Kylie sounds very game, merry even, and there's enough holiday spirit on offer to help even the grinchiest customer make it through the season with the bare minimum of humbug.

Nov 16, 2015The patchiness of the album is perhaps a consequence of Kylie trying to placate the disparate portions of her remaining fanbase. Still, seven keepers out of 13 is a decent hit rate. A merry little album.

Nov 16, 2015Kylie’s Christmas is wearyingly hard going at times.
-
Nov 19, 2015Even listened to while off your knockers on sherry, Kylie Christmas is a confusing package: the first three songs are orchestral, big-band numbers delivered with all the joie de vivre of a Sainsbury’s advert. Then it gives up entirely on that genre, and fires off random collaboration ideas that border on Monkey Tennis territory.
