  • Summary: The live recording of the band's acoustic concert performance at The Captain's Restin Glasgow, on July 30, 2008.
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 4 out of 6
  2. Negative: 0 out of 6
  1. Anyone already in love with tracks such as 'Good Arms Vs Bad Arms,' 'Backwards Walk' and 'Poke' will probably enjoy hearing these live versions, and for others this will serve as a good primer and incentive to go back and discover the original recorded versions.
  2. Liver! Lung! FR! is a solid album--it was just better six months ago.
  3. In the end, Liver! Lung! FR! may not be quite as visceral as The Midnight Organ Fight. But yes, 'The Twist' still pings pleasure centers, gorgeous in this lighter, piano-backed version.
  4. For those who missed Frightened Rabbit's last record, those who weren't already enthralled by these tuneful Scots, this album will really come alive.

LLFR! is a skiffle-ish, gung-ho affair built upon driving acoustic guitar and organ. [May 2009, p.102]
  6. Frightened Rabbit keep their slight edge with stripped down versions of songs from the aforementioned album, while the necessity of this release remains questionable.
