Definitely their weakest album. Delonge's vocals actually get annoying at times especially in the opening track. There are a few notable songs on here like "Surrender" and "Crawl" but other songs on this album are very hard to listen to. Delonge shows no creativity by recycling guitar riffs and vocal melodies throughout the whole album. "Love part 1" outclasses "Love part 2" in every wayDefinitely their weakest album. "Love part 1" outclasses "Love part 2" in every way and It makes me wonder why they even needed a follow up. This album makes Delonge look like a fool for trying to add to an album that was already perfect and their band would have been better off if this album never existed. Expand

Except for the dearth of truly original ideas, Love Part II is, at its core, just another Angels & Airwaves record--nothing more, nothing less. [Jan 2012, p.100]

It can be boring and not much fun. [19 Nov 2011, p.50]

Any distinction between "Dry Your Eyes" (which sneers, "Don't pretend to cry") and "The Revelator" (which offers moral support in hard times) is erased by the band's numbing grandiosity.
