    I'm pretty sure l would love it more if there weren't the old songs. Enjoyable music, Liam's vocals are always a blessing to hear, but I feel that he can do it better at lyrics (knowing that he didn't write most of the songs), but LP1 is a good combination he's doing it very well.

    I was expecting to hear a variety sound on theses new tracks and i didn't have it an album very generic with a very repetitive choruses.The worst is the he was the last ex-1d to make a solo album to give us this poor production so much talent for nothing.At least what save this album is the the older singles.

    Tremendo album para cerrar este año y por qué no también la década? La espera valió la pena, con una producción de primera junto a la voz de Liam complementa el resultado de un album perfecto y digno de una estrella. LP1 la rompió.

    There are a few standout tracks like "For You", "Polaroid", and "Bedroom Floor", so that's why I give this album a 3. But I feel like this album is so basic, and I don't like how he sings about sex and girls the whole album, especially in the song "Both Ways". Liam made me disappointed. But at least this album is better than Justin Bieber's Changes.     These criticisms are heavy and unnecessary, it is his first album and he even before releasing the album said that serious a fun album and serious as a playlist. He is an amazing artist with a magnificent vocal range, his voice and timbre and something surreal. I loved LP1 your voice on the songs is perfect but the media demands more than that. Its evolution on the second album will be something like it was with Charlie Puth who in his debut album was over-massacred by the media and the album was badly accepted and that made him evolve and make a better album to be better accepted by critics.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I didn’t like liam’s album. I love him and I’m so proud of what he accomplished with 1D but LP1 is soulless. It doesn’t say anything about him and I looked at the songs that he wrote and he barely wrote a couple of them (don’t remember how many, but were less than 6 I think). I think he focus on quantity instead of quality and he aimed for a hit instead of something that represented him as a person and artist. His songs don’t tell stories, don’t move you, don’t make you feel anything more than cringe with the lyrics. I would like to think that he was not well advised and that he only followed his records advises instead of following his guy. But needless to say I expected more from Liam. He has an amazing voice and he is capable of more, he just has to stop looking for hits and focus more about giving his music soul and meaning.

    When listening to album I saw music from years ago, and it seems that it does not come out of the same sound. Liam made a bad mistake, and it seems like discarded music and given to him, he had a great hope in his talent and unfortunately it was not what he expected.

    The album contains a number of singles that were wildly overplayed most are bored of listening too. A few okay songs, halfway listenable songs. A few truly awful songs. Then there are the offensive songs.... individually the music and lyrics aren't great but as an album it makes no sense and is truly awful. The only redeming quality is that liam has a halfway decent voice. Maybe if he gets another go at this and his record label doesn't drop him for crimes against music (and fasion) he will stop trying to be whatever the hell he thinks he is and start actually exploring himself and discovering who he is as a person and musically. I would love to give this at least a two or a three but I just can't make myself donit especially after the lyrics to both ways.… Expand

    The way Liam talks about the main theme in the album (sex) is not sexy or instigating. Everything sounds vulgar and forced. There are problematic lyrics, generic melodies and Payne seems to ignore his potential to do something inovative.

    Track 7, Rude Hours, is one of worst things I've heard this year. Track 1, Stack It Up, is like a bad version of Same Old Love and the album has too many unnecessary tracks , but I think he has a good voice, cam improve

    Since Liam released his debut single "Strip That Down" all we heard of him are basic,boring and generic songs.He's always trying to make songs that are ready to become but continue flopping.Hey Liam,nobody buys it anymore.

    álbum maravilhoso e quem nao concorda ta errado, é isso. poderia ser melhor? sim, td pode ser melhor.
    mas tá perfeito do jeito que é.
    liam tem a voz maravilhosa, e já quero lp2 pois vai ser ainda melhor do que esse.

    The best album I've ever heard in 2019 so far, where Liam Payne set himself free and felt comfortable to sing about what makes him feel good.

    LP1 is the best album I've heard this year, it has an amazing set of songs that perfectly match and captivate you to listen again and again. I couldn't be more proud of Liam's first album, I waited a long time for it.

    this album is very confusing and...awful. why would he be releasing an album with songs over 2 YEARS OLD??? the lyrics are also atrocious (ex: “let me do your ass in the car???) how do you go from being 1D’s main songwriter to this? it is extremely underwhelming and not cohesive. stream literally anything other than this please god

    Horrible pop album. Nothing unique or different. Used the most tired pop formula and somehow still made every song incredibly horrendous. Great job Liam, there’s now an artist worse than Imagine Dragons

    It's a hairs breath away from being one of the worst hours I've ever spent listening to music. Good voice, bad lyrics, bad tunes, bad songs.

    Ultimately, a few things come from repeated listenings of “LP1″: First off, the writing and singing aren’t strong enough and come across as C-level Timberlake material. Two, without being surrounded by 1D, he shouldn’t sing high, flightily and airily, but rather stick to slow, low groovers. Three, Payno should find one or two styles that work best for him — and not put a host of other singers before him, male or female — and stick to them.
