    There are a few standout tracks like "For You", "Polaroid", and "Bedroom Floor", so that's why I give this album a 3. But I feel like this album is so basic, and I don't like how he sings about sex and girls the whole album, especially in the song "Both Ways". Liam made me disappointed. But at least this album is better than Justin Bieber's Changes.     Ughh . Basics lyrics. The song Both Ways is horrible. and why they added songs that are like two years old. It's very not coherent. My least fav debut album from (Ex) One Direction members.

    Álbum genérico, sem sentido e sem propósito. Justamente por ser o último ex-1D a lançar álbum, deveria ser o com o melhor material. Parece um diário de um garoto de programa com bases sonaras que miraram em Justin Bieber mas acertaram na mais profunda mediocridade. Músicas feitas para entrarem em playlists do Spotify e tocar em loja de roupas. Não esperava um trabalho de arte orgânico comoÁlbum genérico, sem sentido e sem propósito. Justamente por ser o último ex-1D a lançar álbum, deveria ser o com o melhor material. Parece um diário de um garoto de programa com bases sonaras que miraram em Justin Bieber mas acertaram na mais profunda mediocridade. Músicas feitas para entrarem em playlists do Spotify e tocar em loja de roupas. Não esperava um trabalho de arte orgânico como os trabalhos do Zayn e do Harry Styles, mas pelo menos algo que mostrasse o que ele é capaz de fazer. O pior, com certeza, são as composições rasas e que parecem escritas em 2001, uma época onde objetificar mulheres era culturalmente aceitável.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I didn’t like liam’s album. I love him and I’m so proud of what he accomplished with 1D but LP1 is soulless. It doesn’t say anything about him and I looked at the songs that he wrote and he barely wrote a couple of them (don’t remember how many, but were less than 6 I think). I think he focus on quantity instead of quality and he aimed for a hit instead of something that represented him as a person and artist. His songs don’t tell stories, don’t move you, don’t make you feel anything more than cringe with the lyrics. I would like to think that he was not well advised and that he only followed his records advises instead of following his guy. But needless to say I expected more from Liam. He has an amazing voice and he is capable of more, he just has to stop looking for hits and focus more about giving his music soul and meaning.

    The worst album I've heard in 2019. It's even worse than Kanye's PATHETIC "Jesus Is King". Hope Liam Payne starts making something good for real in the next era.

    0 stars. I didn't know music could make me feel like puking. LP1 is overly sexual and narcissistic, GENERIC as hell and literal TRASH. When high sex drive is your only personality trait, then the addition of **** lyrics doesn't help.

    this sounds like it was wrote by a below average intelligence teenage boy, the song both ways is extremely tone death and i can’t believe he was allowed to release it. besides that it’s incredibly boring and there’s not even a tiny ounce of personality in this entire album

    Liam Payne. He’s a good singer with a six pack. however, his lyrics are questionable and “both ways” is an anthem for douchey straight guys who only “support” the lgbtq community when it comes to **** bi women for their pleasure. good bye and good flop.

    When listening to album I saw music from years ago, and it seems that it does not come out of the same sound. Liam made a bad mistake, and it seems like discarded music and given to him, he had a great hope in his talent and unfortunately it was not what he expected.

    this is so basic and generic, a carbon copy of justin bieber and timberlake type of sound but without any flavor, the lyrics is so cringy and the dated production gives this album the title of the worst album of 2019, i'm sorry liam but maybe you should keep posting nudes on social media because it takes more than looking hot to be a true artist.

    most of the songs are nothing more than generic trash. liam payne honestly had great potential but wasted all of it. the lyrics are extremely superficial and **** not to mention some even contain problematic remarks. 100% disappointed with this debut, i’m sure he could do a lot better.

I've been hoping for this record since he launched Strip that down but sasly all my expectations ended intoSorry, I love Liam so much but I don't know what happened to him, I was so excited about this album and it is so boring, the majority of the album sounds the same beat except for All I Want, Familiar, For You and Strip that Down, rhe rest of the album is the same beat over and over.     literally the worst release out of the 1d members and possibly one of the worst albums i’ve ever heard. I expected better but it was mostly for radio made music that literally has no meaning.

    Ultimately, a few things come from repeated listenings of “LP1″: First off, the writing and singing aren’t strong enough and come across as C-level Timberlake material. Two, without being surrounded by 1D, he shouldn’t sing high, flightily and airily, but rather stick to slow, low groovers. Three, Payno should find one or two styles that work best for him — and not put a host of other singers before him, male or female — and stick to them.
