Sep 23, 2016While still feeling like a it of a backward step for the band in terms of content, Magic Mountain does have its moments; in the form of a compelling opener (''Holding On To Letting Go'), a good closer ('Remember Me') and one of their strongest tracks to date ('Me and Mary Jane'). Not their best work, but nonetheless still good to listen to.
Verdict: B

Dec 23, 2014Clunkers aside, Magic Mountain comes closer than any previous offering in providing the kind of excitement Black Stone Cherry generate live, and showcases their most refined songwriting to date.

Dec 23, 2014Raucous and honest, this album rocks with their trademark down-home stoner swagger.
