Those problems aren’t exactly mitigated here, since most of those songs appear on this album too, but within this new context, they feel like a flashback before the saga continues. Many of the new songs are better about balancing Easter eggs for day-ones with new entry points for more casual listeners.

It's an album that explores BTS journey and artistic side using some the archetypes of the Map of the Soul of Gustav Carl Jung (persona, shadow and ego). My favorite lyrics are Intro: Persona, Interlude: Shadow and Black Swan And my favorite songs are the mentioned and UGH!

Dec 3, 2020You can't get more diverse than MAP OF THE SOUL:7. It has something in it for all the listeners out there, whether you're into rap or pop or rock. An album with an incredible meaning which resonates greatly with BTS's dedicated fanbase and of course, BTS themselves.

Love that they tried songs like louder thanbombs... Would recommend everyone to go through the lyrics, specially black swan, it's so heart wrenching. Definitely one of my favourite albums from BTS.
