    Only when they tip the 'dumb' into an absurdism, in bouts of monotony or mindlessly devolved weirdness, do Metz sound anything like punk, or indeed art. Herein lies the retardation.

    METZ has got great sound and interesting melody, but all songs look very simple without something extraordinary, without wow-things. It is ordinary, but good album, which doesn't open new doors and windows. They sit on warm place, which was found many years ago.
