    To start; the Album couldn’t start nor end any better. Saoko is a strong beginning showing how this isn’t EMQ. Disappointed I was at first, it subverted all expectations I had. Saoko shows two polar styles come together in a wonder collage - stylistic jazz to hard reggaetón. Granted I wish the lyrics had more transformative meaning, it’s a great first impression.

    Sakura on the other hand    To start; the Album couldn’t start nor end any better. Saoko is a strong beginning showing how this isn’t EMQ. Disappointed I was at first, it subverted all expectations I had. Saoko shows two polar styles come together in a wonder collage - stylistic jazz to hard reggaetón. Granted I wish the lyrics had more transformative meaning, it’s a great first impression.

    Sakura on the other hand ends a polar opposite way singing away to her audience, ready for the next journey in her life. It’s a real raw performance with raw feelings most of us would understand - extreme fame.

    As Saoko has 2 - 3 mixed styles, it goes on for the next 7 songs all in a different conceptual mix on a genre. Dembow, Bulerias, Bachata, Etc. Then comes the MOTOMAMI interlude, introducing the second act of 4 split songs which have a Moto and then a Mami. This duality ends at the next interlude of ABCDEFG. I really enjoy that this album has only 2 features of different artists (3 if you consider James Blake). The two artists are really opposite - The Weekend is an artist at the top of his game, he is peaking whereas Tokischa is very low on this pole. She is a regional hit just as Rosalia started and she is obviously trying to promote her such as an apprentice. A duality of music and fame this really shows the artistic genius of Rosalia and her transformative duality that hasn’t been done before at this caliber. I hope to see her grow farther than she’s ever dreamed, that is if she wants this fame. If you read this - Rosalia, I am just another stranger but I would love to extend my pride for you. This is another great step for music from EMQ to MOTOMAMI. Can’t wait to see what comes next.    … Expand

On my first listen the album not only kept my attention the whole way through, but it kept me at the edge of my seat, every time i thought I knew what was coming, Motomami threw a curve ball at the listener.     This is the most unique, full-of-identity, and uplifting album I've ever listened to in I-don't-know-how-many years! La Rosalía showed how trully a musician she is, and raised the level of the music industry for how albums should sound as a body of work. From the ballads like "HENTAI" and the most speedy one "BIZCOCHITO", she equally mastered the production, vocals, and visuals.

    Just WOW... She couldn't be more brave to do this album. Finally something that feels fresh in the industry and sounds different.
    It is disruptive, it is chaotic, but exciting and as she said, it definitely describes the roller coaster she lived when being on tour and then in lock down. It really makes you feel that up and down when you listen to the whole thing.

    El Mal Querer fans were fans of an album, but the artist is Rosalia, and she is a person that evolves, she could have repeated the same recipe and play safe, but she took the risk and offered us again an amazing piece but completely different.
    It opens your mind musically, destroys prejudice and of course blows your mind away with that voice.
    There is space for sense of humor, nostalgic moments, experimental moments, but also chill moments in her most structured songs.
    I hope it gets the recognition she deserves, she is way ahead of time.    … Expand

It is personal, and you could tell, it surprised as it jumps from one thing to the other and it keeps surprising throughout the whole experience. This album makes use of various hip-hop elements, being cohesive with the overall production of it, aswell to give a new feel with backgrounded instruments, to let the voice full on, or by using regueton drills, in songs like HENTAI and CuuuuUUUte, innovating on the overall use of them. Throughtout the whole album, the voice is what leads the songs rather than the instrumental part itself, making it very unique. I see this album as the statement from ROSALIA to the overall hate she has receIved from her FAKE fans and how they see her fame as something that changed her for bad rather than for good, which is what happened.     Me encantó. Los singles no le hacen justicia al disco. Una montaña rusa de emociones. A simple vista el unico skip podría ser Chicken Teriyaki pero en el disco tiene todo el sentido. Puedo escucharlo todo el día porque con la variedad de sonidos y géneros no se me hace aburrido. Vanguardista y arriesgado. Mis favoritas G3N15, Diablo, Delirio de Grandeza, Hentai....10/10

    Vine a criticar a Rosalía, y ahora me considero su fan número uno. Estuve en su concierto en Bogotá y sin duda fue la mejor experiencia de mi vida y espero repetirla.     Truly a fantastic album, I haven't heard something so experimental since ARTPOP. It includes so many genres and still manages to stick to the theme of living the life of a celebrity.
    The album really makes you focus only on itself because of how unexpected it is, even after listening to it over 10 times you still can't fully predict what's going to happen next.

    It's important to mention how thrilling the mixture of genres is, there's something remarkable that listing to a flamenco song and then a reggaeton bop makes you feel. The entire album is such an experience that it flies by like nothing, really recommend listening focusing only on the album though, you might miss out on some bits otherwise and not get the entire experience that motomami is.    … Expand

    Wow!!!! One of the best experimental albums I've heard, I love how Rosalía plays with Latin sounds (Bolero, Bachata, Samba, Reegueton, etc.) and unites them with sounds of everyday life. A genius

    This album has been the best one this year , 2022! It truly defined my year and this album was always on replay!!! I’m sure it’s going to be on my Spotify wrapped , and her tour was amazing, just the way I imagined it to be like!!! This album deserves all the success!!! I own the vinyl and this will definitely be one of Rosalia’s classics!!!

    Unos de los álbumes más movidos y con una construcción musical muy bien pensada. El éxito de este álbum se debe a la variedad de sonidos, el estilo de ella vibra y mueve los huesos. Explota en todos los sentidos su imagen y calidad de artista, como ella mismo lo dijo, su mejor instrumento es la voz y en algunas canciones se aprecia un sonido limpio que encanta.

    Es un álbum muy bueno y también muy arriesgado, los sonidos son brutales desde Reggaeton alternativo y dark, pop experimental, baladas etc, hay canciones con letras muy claras y crudas, otras más metafóricas, algunas letras son muy complejas y otras tiene pizcas de humor, me gusta como rosalia muestra dos lados en el álbum, el lado moto y el lado mami, también me gusta ver cómo cadaEs un álbum muy bueno y también muy arriesgado, los sonidos son brutales desde Reggaeton alternativo y dark, pop experimental, baladas etc, hay canciones con letras muy claras y crudas, otras más metafóricas, algunas letras son muy complejas y otras tiene pizcas de humor, me gusta como rosalia muestra dos lados en el álbum, el lado moto y el lado mami, también me gusta ver cómo cada canción de lado moto tiene su lado mami y cómo hay una conexión entre ambas como en saoko habla sobre la transformación expresándolo de una manera metafórica y en su lado mami que es diablo rosalia habla de cómo la gente la criticaría,y me impresiona como hace sonar las canciones tan bien y algunas canciones tiene muy pocas capas de instrumentación, me gusta que en este álbum hay un espacio para todo es muy minimalista me gusta mucho la lírica (hay gente que se queja de la lírica pero es que no se da el tiempo de entender el álbum) motomami es un álbum qué hay que analizar para entenderlo y que coga aún más sentido,es como ir buscando las piezas de un rompecabezas para q todo vaya agarrando forma, rosalia es una genio.… Expand
