    Everything about this album is so beautiful and fantastic, from her vocals to the lyrics and the quite experimental production. Love the whole 'moto/mami' theme throughout the project. Give it a listen if you haven't, definitely gonna be one of my faves this year.

Her sound is fresh, new and imaginative yet, still very much her. There’s references she pulls from under the rocks and they can be clearly seen in many of the songs.     A full masterpiece , Rosalia es une artista unica. i was afraid about what can you deliver after el mal querer ( her second album which was insane ) but she delivered something just as good and really different at the same time. Artistic growth!!!

El Mal Querer fue tremendo álbum, y Motomami es el doble. Me encanta cada canción de este álbum, sus melodías, las letras, la voz de Rosalía en cada canción suena más angelical que en sus álbumes anteriores.     Poca música de hoy en día me suele emocionar. Sentir escuchando es una cosa que cada vez me es más difícil y no imaginaba que este disco despertaría esos sentimientos en mí. Esperaba con ganas el disco, los singles me habían llamado la atención, las expectativas eran altas pero el sonido final supera todo con creces. Una obra que estoy seguro perdurará en el tiempo.

    What a masterpiece! I went in expecting an ok and very commercially “safe” album and I was blown away by her versatile and how experimental the album was. Her voice will blow you away! And just when you’re getting comfortable the album takes a different turn and you’re like wow is this!!?? Sakura was the perfect album closer.

    Motomami experiments with several genres and mixes reggaeton, electronica or flamenco among others and still sounds cohesive. It's not a perfect album, but a really good one indeed. I feel that with Motomami, Rosalia doesn't want to take herself so seriously like in her previous work. This album is a really smart move.

    To start; the Album couldn’t start nor end any better. Saoko is a strong beginning showing how this isn’t EMQ. Disappointed I was at first, it subverted all expectations I had. Saoko shows two polar styles come together in a wonder collage - stylistic jazz to hard reggaetón. Granted I wish the lyrics had more transformative meaning, it’s a great first impression.

    Sakura on the other hand    To start; the Album couldn’t start nor end any better. Saoko is a strong beginning showing how this isn’t EMQ. Disappointed I was at first, it subverted all expectations I had. Saoko shows two polar styles come together in a wonder collage - stylistic jazz to hard reggaetón. Granted I wish the lyrics had more transformative meaning, it’s a great first impression.

    Sakura on the other hand ends a polar opposite way singing away to her audience, ready for the next journey in her life. It’s a real raw performance with raw feelings most of us would understand - extreme fame.

    As Saoko has 2 - 3 mixed styles, it goes on for the next 7 songs all in a different conceptual mix on a genre. Dembow, Bulerias, Bachata, Etc. Then comes the MOTOMAMI interlude, introducing the second act of 4 split songs which have a Moto and then a Mami. This duality ends at the next interlude of ABCDEFG. I really enjoy that this album has only 2 features of different artists (3 if you consider James Blake). The two artists are really opposite - The Weekend is an artist at the top of his game, he is peaking whereas Tokischa is very low on this pole. She is a regional hit just as Rosalia started and she is obviously trying to promote her such as an apprentice. A duality of music and fame this really shows the artistic genius of Rosalia and her transformative duality that hasn’t been done before at this caliber. I hope to see her grow farther than she’s ever dreamed, that is if she wants this fame. If you read this - Rosalia, I am just another stranger but I would love to extend my pride for you. This is another great step for music from EMQ to MOTOMAMI. Can’t wait to see what comes next.    … Expand

    This is the most unique, full-of-identity, and uplifting album I've ever listened to in I-don't-know-how-many years! La Rosalía showed how trully a musician she is, and raised the level of the music industry for how albums should sound as a body of work. From the ballads like "HENTAI" and the most speedy one "BIZCOCHITO", she equally mastered the production, vocals, and visuals.

    I loved the journey listening to this album across different genre and tons of unique sounds and types of music. Some of those sounds are horrendous and extremely annoying to listen to, though. Her uniqueness and quirkiness can annoy me at times. It seems to be a me thing looking at others opinions.

    It opens your mind musically, destroys prejudice and of course blows your mind away with that voice.
    There is space for sense of humor, nostalgic moments, experimental moments, but also chill moments in her most structured songs.

    Es un buen álbum con sus altos y bajos, lo que sobresale es la producción de Rosalía que es muy experimental, por lo cual muchas personas pensaran que es un mal álbum. Tiene ritmos interesantes y una gran excentricidad propia de Rosalía. Un buen álbum, no me parece que el mejor del año, pero al menos top 10.

    Este álbum habla desde el lado mas personal de Rosalia, hay que entender que no hay que esforzarse mucho para entender, solo hay que disfrutar las diferentes etapas de Rosalia, diversión, melancólica y la fama, creo que todo es un caos muy bien organizado

    Realmente tiene buen ritmo, pero siempre he considerado que buenas canciones no solo son buenos ritmos, la letra no me satisface para nada. Pero he de admitir que las canciones son muy pegadizas.

It is personal, and you could tell, it surprised as it jumps from one thing to the other and it keeps surprising throughout the whole experience. I respect and appreciate her boldness to just come out with this even though she could have a easier comfort zone by just doing something similar to what she did in El Mal Querer favorites track on the record: Diablo, Sakura, Delirios De Grandeza, Como un G, G3 N15, , La combi Versace, Cuuuuuute, Bulerías… Expand

    Criar um álbum experimental feito para o pop mainstream não é pra qualquer um. Com uma montanha-russa de gêneros e sonoridades, Rosalía prova que existe reggaeton pra otaku. E ele é muito divertido.

    es perfecto, el uso de voz como instrumento, la conexión entre letra y producción, lo minimalista, como tuerce de la mejor manera posible géneros musicales y también como los mezcla entre si como por ejemplo una balada con un rap, lo intencional que es Rosalía, lo vulnerable además de como se abre a través de canciones como g3n15 o como un g, sumando el tono de humor donde se permitees perfecto, el uso de voz como instrumento, la conexión entre letra y producción, lo minimalista, como tuerce de la mejor manera posible géneros musicales y también como los mezcla entre si como por ejemplo una balada con un rap, lo intencional que es Rosalía, lo vulnerable además de como se abre a través de canciones como g3n15 o como un g, sumando el tono de humor donde se permite divertirse en el álbum, simplemente maravilloso, con cada escucha este álbum se pone mejor. me encanta cómo todo tiene que ver con algo dentro de la pieza, como todo es contrastes, como la portada referencia el nacimiento de venus con un casco de motocicleta moderno, todos los mínimos detalles en el álbum y su presentación esta meticulosamente pensada y esto lo hace un proyecto perfecto… Expand

    Una propuesta que suena bastante desorganizada hasta que se desmenuza cada track y se entiende el universo sonoro en el que está sumergido. Una vez entendidas las reglas del álbum, se puede apreciar que su desarrollo sobre esas bajadas de línea establecidas es impecable.

    El conjunto de ritmos que puede haber en una sola canción es increíble, este álbum cumple con fragmentar la imagen y hacerla aún más grande a Rosalia, sin hablar de la estética que nos trae esta obra con estilos nuevos al street style.

    MOTOMAMI is experimental in a way that does not sacrifice function over form. These songs have a pop purpose: they are fragmented, but they are laid in catchy hooks and enthralling beats. MOTOMAMI doesn’t fail to entertain.
