    Hay una minoría de canciones en las cuales sus coros podrían ser recordados tales como un himno para algunos seguidores de este género; sin embargo, aquellas canciones en las cuales sí agracian este álbum (destacando I wanna be a Warhol y I'm only here to disappoint), hacen que sea una colección que valga la pena oír y mantener en tu estantería.

    Listening back on the first couple of releases, its obvious Alkaline Trio has learned to inject more melody into their songs over the years, though My Shame Is True is closer to their punk-ier sound than the last few efforts.
