Mar 15, 2016Crisp, straight to the point, solid, and opening a new window for The KVB. It creates an atmosphere of somewhere you're not allowed in, but welcome to. Use of bass guitar could have been added to more tracks, for a more dynamic texture. Other than that, if played on high quality speakers, it's simplicity digs your brain to give space for every sound's integrity together.

MojoMar 14, 2016Capturing the duo's perfect balance of fan with technician, it plumbs indie music's past, inhabiting the same sonic atmospheres as the JAMC, MBV and Joy Division, but is executed with expert ability. [Apr 2016, p.90]
