    I do not see the fuss about that album. Undertones of Chamber Pop, Electropop, and even Downtempo/Trip-Hop. It is a pleasant listening but if you are not very fond of her voice it is kinda cloying. I do not want to hear it again although as I said it is not a bad album.

    The 80s traditionalists will delight in the euphoric synth-pop of Happy Giddy, but this is a far more ambitious delight than that. Her voice might have got her noticed, but her songwriting’s proving the most extraordinary thing about her these days.
