    Piano Song is an excellent and accessible introduction that surrenders nothing in terms of creativity. For fans, this authoritative statement is a revelatory chapter from one of the most fascinating musicians since 1980s.

    Some tracks move in more arcane ways, such as the hesitantly titled pieces “Silence of”, “Void of”, and the piano solo “The Nature of”. As playful and enjoyable as they may be, good luck finding out what makes them tick.

    Full disclosure, I'm not a big jazz guy so obviously my point of view has to be taken with a grain of salt. While some of the songs on this album worked for me, there were points where it went off on tangents, got hyper focused on certain notes and lost me. Expand
