Unhindered by any fan expectation or pressure; just two craftswomen working to construct their best product, and it seems Black and Miller may have done just that.
  2. Nov 29, 2016
    80
Blasts of powerful guitar and rhythm that sounds like two, sometimes three percussionists carry along their tradition of satisfying grunge here, but the songs feel more cathartic than celebratory, the crashing cymbals and flurry of toms reflecting the honest, raucous lyrics.
  3. Nov 29, 2016

Following 2014's similarly impressive Do Not Engage, the Pack A.D. are on a roll, producing some of the strongest material of their ten-year career.
  4. Nov 29, 2016

With Positive Thinking, The Pack A.D. outdo their past, the new facets and layers revealing themselves further with each listen.
  5. Nov 29, 2016

A bunch of tunes seem built for radio (So What, Error), ballad Sorrow is overly dreary, and Skin Me borrows way too much from Nirvana. But the strength, emotion and new directions make this album a winner.
