    I'm a 21 year old guy who has never actually clicked with JB's tunes in the past AT ALL, and to be honest, this album is really, really great. The production includes electro, trap and synth beats, and this album contains some great features like Nas, Travis Scott, Big Sean and Skrillex. Lyrically, it is decent, and his voice really goes well on the production. Overall, for those whoI'm a 21 year old guy who has never actually clicked with JB's tunes in the past AT ALL, and to be honest, this album is really, really great. The production includes electro, trap and synth beats, and this album contains some great features like Nas, Travis Scott, Big Sean and Skrillex.     El álbum en general es muy bueno, las canciones que no son tan buenas las compensa con las que soy muy buenas, muy buenas letras.
    Solo esperaba un álbum mas movido teniendo coml referencia los singles.

    The production and vocals on this album are some of the best pop music has produced this year. While there are definitely some pretty weak tracks on the album (eg. No Pressure, Children, Mark My Words), it also includes some of the best of Bieber's whole career. His breathy vocals mark a serious development in his career as more of an r&b artist to a pop singer, much in the vein of JustinThe production and vocals on this album are some of the best pop music has produced this year. While there are definitely some pretty weak tracks on the album (eg. No Pressure, Children, Mark My Words), it also includes some of the best of Bieber's whole career.     Justin brought this deep, intimate album. The ripening of it incredible and enormous, a more sonic and productive side and partnerships. Skrillex in his production and Justin's compositions become huge songs.

    I can't believe Purpose has such bad ratings...like what the hell? This is Justin's best album to date and he broke many records with it. He is truly the prince of pop.

    De los mejores álbumes en mucho tiempo, la manera en la que te sentís escuchando cada letra, el sentimiento que hay, el sonido, absolutamente todo es maravilloso, sin dudas puede decir que no se le dió el reconocimiento que mereció este álbum.

    After being a joke for so long, Bieber did something right with his music and released a really freaking good and chill album. It was such a surprise to hear this album and actually really dig it.

He has shown his perseverance in song writing and also turning his life around for the better. There are the typical JB love songs but a lot more inspiring songs this time around. I'm proud of Justin and how hes changed for the better. I think a lot of the negative comments about the album are instant reactions...give it time! people will see how wonderful this album.     I think it was worth the wait. If you can't see JB's talent even in this work then i can do nothing for you. A consistent album with soul and love with catchy songs, but also rap/rnb songs like No Sense with the magnificent Travis Scott or Trust and others... We can clearly see that the eclecticism of Justin and is passion for music has never been that strong, and it's only the beginning...

    he changed and for better, i unlike his previous albums but this is very good. im giving it a 7 because most songs sound like the same r&b songs but still so catchy. my favs are we are and life is worth living. x

    I venture to say that this album is one of his best albums produced this year and the best of it. Do not like it, but I have to admit that he did a great job, the songs are so tasty hearing, where clearly you can hear his voice without an album full of effects. Justin Congratulations, great job!

    Mark My Words is the only song here that has actual innovation or inventiveness. The rest of the album is by-the-numbers, although Justin does give songs like Love Yourself or Purpose soul that most of this generation's pop music severely lacks. The production, if nothing new, is nice to the ears too.

    This is Bieber's first album as a legitimate artist. With major assists from Poo Bear and, especially, Skrillex, he's given us a solidly above average album. Half of the album is nearly flawless, yet the other half is mediocre. Purpose is the first Bieber album I've listened to all the way through and the only one I've enjoyed at all. I'm definitely looking forward to his next project toThis is Bieber's first album as a legitimate artist. With major assists from Poo Bear and, especially, Skrillex, he's given us a solidly above average album. Half of the album is nearly flawless, yet the other half is mediocre. Purpose is the first Bieber album I've listened to all the way through and the only one I've enjoyed at all. I'm definitely looking forward to his next project to see if he takes another step forward and, hopefully, tightens up his artistic identity even further. ~ 7.7/10

    This is the best album from Bieber. More personal, great lyrics, great sounds, good vocals. He changed and for better. My favorites songs on Purpose are "I'll Show You", "No Pressure feat. Big Sean", "No Sense feat. Travis Scott", "The Feeling feat. Halsey", "Company" and "Love Yourself".

    Many of the songs were very relatable in my opinion. Justin has a really good voice, and the album had a lot of well written songs. While some of them felt too similar to the other ones, it's still an album that is definitely worth listening to.

    Justin is just getting better and better. Purpose is very inspirational where I think people can find themselves on it. the kid is doing a great job. Personally my favorite songs are Children and Love yourself.

    Justin Bieber went from 0 to 100 real quick. His reinvention in his new music sounds good and showed maturity for a bigger audience. However, the album contains fillers. On a positive note, it sure will make a lot of hits. "Sorry" and "Love Yourself" are the best in the album.

    This album is amazing and shows a great departure from Justin's old tunes which weren't bad either. He has been best at what he does and he still continues to do that. Funny how hypocritical fans of 1D gave his album a negative review without even listening to the songs.

    Com 'Purpose', Bieber direcionou o seu foco ao EDM, estilo que não utiliza desde o ''Believe''. Porém, de maneira mais aproveitada. Diferente do anterior, Purpose é um álbum coeso e contagiante. O samba no One Erection só começou né amores, já que essa bandinha de garagem re-utiliza a fórmula de criar albuns desde 2013. Eu não apoio as fifth harmony de forma alguma...

I've never been a hater but his music wasn't appealing to me but as a 21 year old male I can say that the growth in his music in this album is incredible. This album is a really well executed pop album and made me appreciate his talent. Most people just blindly hate cause it's Bieber but to be real artist like ChrisI hadn't listened a song of Justin Bieber's before this album, can't lie. I've never been a hater but his music wasn't appealing to me but as a 21 year old male I can say that the growth in his music in this album is incredible.     Bieber in my eyes is still a bit corny. But that doesn't mean I can't like him at all. This album is a great leap in maturity and musicality from his younger albums. He still has lots of time to improve, with lyrics and ideas to talk about. I'm exited for projects he will put out later on in his 20's. He has mad potential.

    Three years after "Believe", Bieber returns with a studio album: The ball of the time, it's "Purpose."

    It is undoubtedly the most "personal" album of the singer, showing personality, and the maturing of the artist to a certain extent.

    With 18 tracks - which is a lot - Justin sins at various times. Her voice is disgusted in certain dogs. A version of Bieber seeks a redemption with "Mark My Words," but fails miserably, a song and cloying, USA, the synthesizers in the worst possible way, and seems to have no end. Be the best known: With "I'll Show You", "What do you mean?" And "Love Yourself", Justin finally shows quality. They are three hits and they are improving every time.

    Already with "Company" and "No Pressure", or disk walks to another road. The first, consistency, and temptation is a great song very balanced. In the second, Big Sean stands out for the quality refrain, and the great participation of the American rapper.

    In "The Feeling," Skrillex's finger on the track is good, yields for quite a while, although at some point, but the duo "Bieber-Halsey" is good, they marry and the sound goes against the quality of both.

    The duet "Life is Worth Living" and "Where They Are Now" do not let the CD level drop, but it also does not raise the plateau. In the first, a song becomes a great ballad with the touch of the piano, it is delicious if it seems, do not miss anything else. O fato de música eletrônica ser um dos meus gêneros favoritos deixou o álbum ainda melhor (para mim ao menos), porque a maioria das músicas tem uma pegada eletrônica.

    This album has versatility and clearly shows how much JB has matured as an artist. I honestly believe that he has made a great impact with this album. He is the sound of the future. Very impressive.

This album contains "Where Are Ü Now" (which itself already won a Grammy), "What Do You Mean" (straight #1 debut, a trendsetter), "Sorry" (excessively streamed song and of course #1, probably gonna end up as #2 song of the year 2016) and "Love Yourself" (complete masterpiece, the #1 song of the year and totally deserved). "Love Yourself" needs to win Grammy for Song of the year, Record of the year and Best Pop Solo performance, or that ceremony would be just a farce. Are you really going to tell me there was a better song this year? "Purpose" is mandatory to be nominated for Album of the year.
    Even with all the bad attention on him and the negative press, he still managed to take it all in and prove everybody wrong. But not only that, his music was so powerful that there is no other artist on the world bigger than him right now. And I gotta tell you, I think is harder to do it that way that he did not blew the chance he was given. Or I would honestly say, there is no other artist this year whose songs I have enjoyed more, sincerely he is the number 1. Yes, he has the #1 and #2 biggest songs of the year, when has this happened before? I don't know, I guess you were witnessing an unprecedented feat here and you'll only find out at the end of the year. "Mark my words"
    And all those ideas and concepts for the mentioned songs inspire and make this album, all the life tribulations and staged comeback contribute to make musical history here!     The production of the album and Justin's excellent vocal delivery is the heart of this album. "Sorry" is the best track on the album. Other essential tracks are - Where Are You Now, Love Yourself and No Sense.

Todos sabem, ou deveriam saber, que a gravadora não apoia o Justin no R&B porque vende menos que o Pop. Enfim, minhas músicas favoritas são: All In It, We Are, No Pressure, No Sense e Trust. TODAS R&Bs. A ''zona de conforto'' do Justin é o R&B, onde você que a voz dele está completamente mais relaxada e livre para usar notas mais altas e os falsetos -os maravilhosos falsetos. Me sinto orgulhosa de ser belieber, me sinto orgulhosa desse novo propósito do Justin. Quando estava ouvindo o álbum e Mark My Words começou a tocar, eu tava tipo: ''vamos lá Justin, cadê a batida? Cadê?'' e então a música acabou e eu confesso que fiquei decepcionada, então I'll Show You surgiu e trouxe TODAS as batidas de que eu estava sentindo falta. Ou seja, o álbum se completa e se encaixa perfeitamente, você sente que as músicas são bastantes conectadas e que elas têm um sentimento muito forte entre si. Você percebe a conexão quando o R&B lento e poderoso de No Pressure acaba e começa o MARAVILHOSO e gracioso Hip-Hop com um pouco de trap music -por que não?- No Sense. E o album acaba com com o riff de All In It, é como se ele tivesse dito tudo o que tinha pra dizer, o seu propósito e tals... e quando AIT começa você já sente a 'despedida'. Na verdade, não foi despedida pra mim porque eu repeti umas 500x KKKKKKKKKKK. Aprendi o album inteiro em 1 semana. Então... e agora tá vendendo 5M WW. QUE ORGULHO JUSTIN!… Expand

    I have a feeling these 200 negative reviews giving this album 0 or 1 are either trolls or fans from some other artist that dislike Justin Bieber either One Direction or Selena Gomez, it's almost like they had a deal to rate this album so badly because there's absolutely no way such a good album has such ridiculous reviews!
    Not only is this Bieber's highest selling album by far,which scored him 3 #1 singles as well,but people truly liked it,I remember reading previews on Apple Music and Spotify, even older folks loved it!
    This album changed a lot of people's opinion on Justin Bieber as an artist,these user reviews are 100% manipulated.
    Personally I liked the vibe and the sound,very original sounds and improvisations from Justin and his producers, I want to point out songs like ''No Sese'', ''No Pressure'' and ''Children'' as one of the best songs from Bieber's career, all three could've been hit singles but since he already gave us 3 bangers it's alright. I want to add the song ''Company'' also surprised me as well as the songs ''Hit The Ground'' & ''Been You'' from his Deluxe version which I bought! To this day this is Justin's best work,his voice sounds a lot more mature, especially on his song ''Mark My Words'' he sings with some incredibly improved falsetto, Lyrics are pretty good even though I would appreciate less love songs and break up themed ones but they're still good.
    As a 25 year old dude who always gives a chance to younger artists I'm pretty impressed with Purpose, if Justin Bieber can do even better than this, well then, bring it on!    … Expand

    This is pop excellence. Justin Bieber changed the game with this album. He was influencing the entire top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and after hits like "What Do You Mean", "Where Are ü Now", "Sorry" and "Love Yourself" dropped. Arguably the Prince Of Pop. The album was cohesive,catchy, and well written. It is his best body of work to date.

    seis anos após "purpose" podemos ver o impacto que essa era teve tanto na carreira de bieber quanto na música pop, no mundo da moda e em todos nós. ele nos mostrou um bieber mais adulto, com atitude, assumindo seus erros da época e outro lado mais frágil do artista. um albúm memorável quando você fala sobre a música pop da década de 2010.

    You can’t hear The Feeling in his voice, which is still one of the most infectiously beautiful in the industry, because as his faith has saved him from his pain, his production team has saved his voice from Justin. It makes for a series of unbeatable mainstream and crossover singles, and a desensitized, unnerving album.
