    Its a very mixed bag for me. There are stand-outs but there are too many filler tracks are just too boring.

    Majesty ft. Labrinth and Eminem

    A little disappointed. Waiting four years it should be great but it seems like this was all done in a couple months. I thought we get to hear more personable tracks as to what she been going through for 4 years she took a break from making a another album. I hope the album does well but its not as good as pink print tho. Shine on nicki.

    A desperate effort to gain back the respect she once has in the hip-hop community. Did it work? Maybe, but in doing so she lost audiences who loved what she served on Pinkprint.

    Nicki's Queen does not live up to it's title, showing little to no growth in 4 years. She continues to recycle the same things, about her body, about sex, about being the best female rapper in the game, without actually showing it.

    The album itself seemed to be a shuffle of songs she recorded and just put out there, she's superficial saying if you're broke you're ugly in the song "rich    Nicki's Queen does not live up to it's title, showing little to no growth in 4 years. She continues to recycle the same things, about her body, about sex, about being the best female rapper in the game, without actually showing it.

    The album itself seemed to be a shuffle of songs she recorded and just put out there, she's superficial saying if you're broke you're ugly in the song "rich sex" and then tries to be deep and sentimental in the song "come see about me", which looses the sentimental value to it.

    Nicki is at her best when she is on the offense, and aggressive, which she shows glimpses of in songs like Barbie Dreams, Chun Li, LLC, Good Form, but on the rest of the album she plays it safe.

    Unfortunately for Nicki she has lost the crown and will have to do A LOT better than this to earn it back.    … Expand

    Honestly her worst album. Her flow is killer at times, but the beats and production just aren't interesting at most times. The best songs are Ganja Burns and Chun-Li. I don't know, it just doesn't strike me as much as her old stuff did. She spends to much of the album talking about sex, how she's the GOAT, and sneak dissing.     Starts off really well but the second half of the album has a lot of filler tracks. Would be better if it was cut to 13 songs MAX. Some really good songs on there, Coco Chanel is a great song but is stuck at the end of a group of filler tracks so will likely get missed by a lot of listeners that will lose interest before that and switch to something else.

    The only people spamming great reviews are her stans or Cardi haters. There is nothing here that proves that she is a "Queen" but it's not bad. The second half of the album is better than the first half by far and it surprised me because I thought the album was straight trash at first. The album doesn't really build upon anything that was already in place but it does a good job of perfecting many different sounds and hip hop trends. 19 songs is entirely too long and rap artists need to stop doing that. It's a pathetic attempt at making more sales and making more money. She easily could've taken 10-13 songs from the album she released and had a really dope project. It's not really unlistenable at many parts but there are cringe worthy moments especially towards the beginning (Eminem trash verse is one of them). The pop moments towards the end are GREAT and it's reflective of the old Nicki. Don't expect this album to blow you away but it's a decent listen that her fans will enjoy.

    Uninspired standard Nicki fare. One wonders how long she can continue to call herself queen if her music sounds less supreme with each new release.

    Queen is the best of all the albums by Minaj. Although not as catchy as the others, the album consists of some decent lyrics and the signature energy Minaj withholds. The only problems are the excessive uses of autotune and bland production and uninteresting features.

    yeah, It is a good album but nothing that blows with your mind. I think she just did and album in order to go for cardi b because this album seems like it was totally directed to her

    По моему мнению, в данном альбоме много скучных песен. Только нескольким интересным исполнениям поставил наиболее высокую оценку: "Good Form" и "Chun-Li". Надеюсь, в будущем у неё будут ещё действительно неплохие альбомы.

    На альбоме есть несколько песен, которые действительно можно послушать и переслушать : Chun Li, Good Form, LLC , Coco, Sir, Hard White - лучшие с альбома, однако остальные настолько плохи, что тянут весь альбом вниз.

Whereas her kast releases felt like a collection of songs (albeit it's good songs) but nonetheless didn't feel together but on "Queen " you're taken on an exhilarating journey. From the atmospheric "ganja burns" or the goosebumps giving "majesty " that hasUndoubtedly my favorite album of hers mainly because of howo it feels lke a real cohesive project with more intent in being an album. It's fun getting to see Nicki have so much fun with her music as she relishes her spot as the queen of rap like on the playful roast on "Barbie dreams" that takes **** at her peers behund a notorious B.I.G sample. Overall it was a long but enjoyable experience that I'd personally recommend to new listeners over her previous work.… Expand

    Just here to say I really **** hope that leaked feature on Yandhi doesn’t end up on the final project cause that whole verse was down right “lyrical myrical” level cringe.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The album “Queen” is Nicki Minaj’s latest album after the Pinkprint from 2014. It included truffle butter, a very good club song, and the iconic Anaconda, which is now almost at 1 Billion streams on YouTube. I am a very big fan of Nicki Minaj and I am a Barb. However, this album left me a little bit disappointed. With 19 different tracks on an album it seemed rather to good to be true. The album starts off with an African type Reggae beat song, Ganja Burn. The duration is 4:54, which is mostly the beat and stale lyrics at the end. Majesty takes the second track and is a good song with top notch lyrics. My favorite song of the album is Barbie Dreams which Nicki explains how the men in the rap game can’t get with her. I think it has very hard lyrics and I like how it has a creative ending to it. Rich Sex is very good on Nicki’s part but has a very strange Lil Wayne verse that doesn’t tie the song altogether well. The 5th song Hard White has outstanding lyrics, but you can tell Nicki is becoming lazy with vocals as there is a substantial amount of auto tone. So far, I was happy with this album, until all of these filler tracks come into play. Run & Hide, Miami, 2 Lit 2 Late interlude, Come See About me. These tracks showed a lot of disinterest in vocals and lyrics when played. If Nicki would have taken these songs out it would have been an awesome album. The songs I did enjoy were Chun-Ali, Barbie Tingz, LLC, and Good Form. Those 4 songs were outstanding and showed Nicki’s true talent with lyrics and writing. The problem with this album is that it seems that Nicki was too focused on her competition rather than her album. Her team seemed to be unprofessional as well when planning her songs such as, delays of songs, and the album. All in all, I give this album a 6/10. I definitely think Nicki can come back with a better album in the upcoming years, because she is the queen of rap and nobody takes her crown.… Expand

    As a HUGE Nicki fan, I can say with confidence that I feel this is Nicki’s worst album. Is it a terrible one? No, but out of all of her albums, this has the most skips and filler tracks. I hope she comes back with something better.

    On Queen, Nicki spends a lot of time ordering beheadings--which are fun, but get old quick--rather than showing us why she is and should be queen. Here's to hoping the next album gives us a more earnest, more raw glimpse of the head that wears the crown.

    When Minaj leans into her untouchable strengths as a rapper, things get really exciting and an album of tracks as strong as "LLC" or "Barbie Dreams" would be one for the books. As it stands, however, Queen is another chapter of Minaj's good but largely meandering and inconsistent full-length album output.

    Queen's title implies it's meant to function as a coronation for one of the biggest rappers ever, but it's more the sound of Minaj fighting to keep that crown on her head.
