    As being part of the barbs myself I would I like to start by saying no this is not nickis best album. But the hate that it is receiving is also not what it deserves. Majesty I can’t even , I think very one that listens to it already knows it’s one of the best! And the rest of the album but I look at each song from various perspectives each time. So please before any of lil Kim’s , cardis or anyone else’s fans attack nicki. Sincerely listen to the album look at the lyrics and if you feel offended about your stan being noticed or called out then sis this is the rap game, get use to it or beat it.… Expand

    I was a Barb in the 2009-2012 era and then I just gave up on her because she would not release an album. I thought she was washed out and could no longer rap like she used to so I joined the Bardi Gang. Then Queen dropped and I realized that she stills has it. She proved to me that she was the Queen of Rap.Her best album yet. I am so sorry for doubting you, Nicki.     This is her best album to date! She really shows everyone she is the queen once again. Everything is perfect, her wordplay and flow are unmatched. Have it on replay since the release.

    Nicki's Queen does not live up to it's title, showing little to no growth in 4 years. She continues to recycle the same things, about her body, about sex, about being the best female rapper in the game, without actually showing it.

    The album itself seemed to be a shuffle of songs she recorded and just put out there, she's superficial saying if you're broke you're ugly in the song "rich    Nicki's Queen does not live up to it's title, showing little to no growth in 4 years. She continues to recycle the same things, about her body, about sex, about being the best female rapper in the game, without actually showing it.

    The album itself seemed to be a shuffle of songs she recorded and just put out there, she's superficial saying if you're broke you're ugly in the song "rich sex" and then tries to be deep and sentimental in the song "come see about me", which looses the sentimental value to it.

    Nicki is at her best when she is on the offense, and aggressive, which she shows glimpses of in songs like Barbie Dreams, Chun Li, LLC, Good Form, but on the rest of the album she plays it safe.

    Unfortunately for Nicki she has lost the crown and will have to do A LOT better than this to earn it back.    … Expand

    The entire album has got only two skips. That means out of NINETEEN songs, only two I find not fitting for the album. I think Nicki, once again, proved that she is simply one of the best rappers in the rap game and definitely unbeatable in the female rap game. This album has surpassed all expectations and I'm beyond excited to see how it will do.

    never have i heard a rap album with the capacity this woman has. not only is she the queen of rap, but also the king. no other female rapper can compare. whereas some of those hoes have ghostwriters, nicki HANDWRITES ALL OF HER SH**! she truly deserves all the success she has. queen is definitely one of the top 3 rap projects released by a female this year. and it’s not three. it’s ONE.

    Starts off really well but the second half of the album has a lot of filler tracks. Would be better if it was cut to 13 songs MAX. Some really good songs on there, Coco Chanel is a great song but is stuck at the end of a group of filler tracks so will likely get missed by a lot of listeners that will lose interest before that and switch to something else.

    I didnt have any hight expectations when I streamed this AND i normally dont like long albums because they tend to have lots of fillers but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Thank you Nicki

    One of the best albums of the year and her best album to date. This longplay shows us her rap-skills and also singing abilities. She has proved her status with differences of hip-hop styles and power to rule them.

    So before I listened to this album, I briefly skipped through the previous 3 albums to see how far Nicki has actually come. Whilst her record sales have proven how much of a queen Nicki really is, it isn’t till you really start paying attention to detail between every album of how talented she actually is also.

Whilst her record sales have proven how much of a queen Nicki really is, it isn’t till you really start paying attention to detail between every album of how talented she actually is also.

    If you look back onto Pink Friday, all the way back in 2010, compared to now, Nicki is a completely different artist. In a good way too. You listen to this album and you really can see how much she has matured in her music, and it’s safe to say that her humbleness really shows in her music too.

    In terms of this album. Was it worth the 4 year wait? Absolutely. The Pink Friday, and the Roman Reloaded eras were really something special, because it was great to see a huge female rapper be celebrated and do so successfully in the way that she was and did. The Pinkprint was that bridge of channelling her old self but also trying to still be fresh without leading to astray from who she really is, but if you fast forward onto this album and that’s where things really change. I feel like now, we are getting the iconic Nicki. I feel this album is going to change the way people see female rappers in the music industry, and I feel like this is also going to change the way people see Nicki in the music industry. She took a complete risk with this album, because this album wasn’t what anybody was expecting. She kept her witty writing skills, and her own flow, but turned up the heat with the messages of the songs, and the sound.

    With this album I feel it’s going to pave the way for so many young and upcoming artists not only in female rap, not only in hip-hop, but I feel a lot of people will look at this album and see Nicki as a beacon to not change who you are, keep doing what you’re doing, and one day, you could have this outcome of having this type of album, because even though I personally love all of Nicki’s albums, this is the first album where as a female rapper, I have seen maturity, time, wit, and a lot of dedication. Not that I never saw that before, but I felt like at times even Nicki didn’t know what type of female rap artist she wanted to be, and now she does, you see that reflection come out in her music, and that is inspirational.

    This album will be looked back in the future as an album that helped define the future careers of female rappers and other artists in the future. Welcome back Nicki.    … Expand

Although her fans might miss new versions of 'The Night Is Still Young' and 'Starships'. This album is more focused towards her hardcore hip hop fans. Barbie Dreams, Majesty and Coco Chanel are the standout tracks. The RecordingThis album was just a reminder that she IS and will ALWAYS be the Queen of Rap. Unlike her previous albums, this album was not as heavily influenced by pop. Although her fans might miss new versions of 'The Night Is Still Young' and 'Starships'.     On Queen, Nicki spends a lot of time ordering beheadings--which are fun, but get old quick--rather than showing us why she is and should be queen. Here's to hoping the next album gives us a more earnest, more raw glimpse of the head that wears the crown.

    When Minaj leans into her untouchable strengths as a rapper, things get really exciting and an album of tracks as strong as "LLC" or "Barbie Dreams" would be one for the books. As it stands, however, Queen is another chapter of Minaj's good but largely meandering and inconsistent full-length album output.

    Queen's title implies it's meant to function as a coronation for one of the biggest rappers ever, but it's more the sound of Minaj fighting to keep that crown on her head.
