    Rebel Heart is like an all-you-can-eat buffet. Nothing on it seems especially carefully prepared, you're probably not going to like everything on it, and even if you do you probably won't want to consume everything in one sitting. Still, you can come back to it again and again and enjoy it every time.

However, aside from a few awful tracks (S.E.X., Best Night, Holy Water, Ven Vidi Vici), the album is amazing. A true blend of pop, adult contemporary, dance, edm, r&b, and balladry. There is no cohesion to the album, however its strength is the songs themselves. Biggest Gems:An album that for sure needs to grow on you. Nothing like her previous 2000-era albums...more like Bedtime Stories. However, aside from a few awful tracks (S.E.X., Best Night, Holy Water, Ven Vidi Vici), the album is amazing.     I've been a Madonna fan since the release of her first single, "Everybody" and no-one has had quite as much as an impact on pop/dance music or pop culture like she has. She has released a brilliant album every decade such; Like A Prayer in the 80's, Erotica, Bedtime Stories and Ray of Light in the 90's, Music and American Life (her most under-rated to date) in the 2000's and mostI've been a Madonna fan since the release of her first single, "Everybody" and no-one has had quite as much as an impact on pop/dance music or pop culture like she has. She has released a brilliant album every decade such; Like A Prayer in the 80's, Erotica, Bedtime Stories and Ray of Light in the 90's, Music and American Life (her most under-rated to date) in the 2000's and most recently, Rebel Heart. This album could be an amalgamation of all the work she has done throughout the decades, "Unapologetic **** is a modern day "Why's It So Hard", "Living For Love" is a throwback to her dance music roots and very reminiscent of "Holiday". She shows much vulnerability is "Heartbreak City" and "Joan of Arc". "Ghosttown" is post-apocalyptic love song and "Devil Pray" is pure genius. Madonna. Madonna has possibly created her best record since 'Ray of Light' - this is difinitely a welcome return to what Madonna does best and that is creating music that is insightful, thought-provoking and innovative.… Expand

    That's a poor album! This album this along with MDNA as one of the worst of his career. Lotus by Christina Aguilera is definitely better than that. I'm really praying for her career.

    "Rebel heart" is not a bad album. It's always better than "Hard candy" or "MDNA". But it could have been great if Madonna had not tried too much to reinvent herself with old tricks and old production. Listen to the second half of the project and then the first one and figure this out.     It's a wonderful album, so beautiful and pretty. Madonna is really a genius!!! Her best since Confessions on a Dance Floor, of course. A deep album with strongs songs.

    The Rebel side of this album is simply pure Madonna, as S.E.X, **** I'm Madonna or Holy Water. She is building this huge part of the album on the theme she masters so well. The Heart side of this album is to me the best. Living For Love, Hold Tight, Joan of Arc are some among masterpieces that album counts. Special mention to Ghosttown which is probably the best pop ballad track we have heard in years from a major artist.

    If you were thinking Madonna's over, well you should carve every word before you let it fall, because the Queen is reigning and she has not "been slain"    … Expand

    The hard work on this album is very apparent. It is a really diverse set with lots of creative production, some instant classic melodies, and a collection of beautiful and thought provoking lyrics. What stands out the most here though is her vocals, which are different in each track and complement the songs beautifully. Bravo

    An album with a lot of heart! A perfect concoction of heartfelt lyrics, catchy melodies and most important, great singing. Don't think she's sounded this good in a while. Its sad when people don't evaluate an artist for their art alone but like to contextualize ... how does it matter if someone is 25 or 55, how does it matter if they pose topless or turn up in a gown?     I absolutely love this album, Rebel Heart is hands down some of Madonna's best work in years. It proves that Madonna still has the talent to make meaningful, catchy, and relevant pop music! Some of her best stuff is on this album. My only 2 complaints are the track listing, it's a little chaotic and the album doesn't have a cohesive flow to it, which i think was intended, but still wouldI absolutely love this album, Rebel Heart is hands down some of Madonna's best work in years.     This album is amazing. Don't like the fun 'rebel' songs? The 'heart' songs are lush and beautiful, the best Madonna has produced in years. Everything sounds fresh and 100% Madonna at the same time. What a legend. Love Love Love this album! Faves: Joan of Arc, Wash All Over Me, Inside Out, Devil Pray, Ghosttown, Hold Tight, VeniViniVici, & Rebel Heart. Thank you Madonna!

    Very intimate and well done album. 100% Madonna in all tracks. The rebel and heart songs mixed together to create an experience where you have to listen to the whole album. It's like a story. It's not a Pop album like we have today where people put a lot of singles together, it's the whole thing making difference.

There's a perfect mix between ballads, pop songs, and upbeat tempo songs. You can tell Madonna is proud of this album, evoking confidence in every song. The themes of sex, being a rebel, and "being Madonna" doesn't overshadow the music, whichIt's no Ray of Light or Confessions -- but it's a solid album, and her best in a decade.     Uno de los mejores y mas completos trabajos de la ya (larga) carrera de Madonna. Temas bien construidos, buenas letras, variedad, consigue que los escuches disfrutando todas las canciones. Baladas (Heartbreak city, Ghosttown, Inside out), realmente magistrales, dance (Living for love, iconic) por citar solo algunas.
    Un disco imprescindible.

    Madonna always delivers great albums but sometimes she creates even better - epic ones. Like Ray of light, Like a prayer and Confessions on a dance floor. Rebel Heart is in the league of her best albums. I am so happy for Madonna and her fans. There is no other musician as generous to fans as Madonna is. I play my copy of the album nonstop. Loving it.

It i9s just that Madonna has always given us a different persona through each record, and this time she's giving us herself, a 56 year old pop star trying all she can to make the best music possible without letting nostalgia take over, while many that should praise, are actually taking her down. But Madonna is never down. Rebel Heart isn't rebellious, neither all the way Heart, instead, it is a subtle confession from an ever ambitious superstar masked as pop perfection. I would probably remove one or two songs, but I'm giving it ten because of the fact this album is not only too damn good, but also because it exists by the hands of the Queen of Pop!… Expand

    Best album since Confession on a Dance Floor. I can't stop sing and dance all the songs. This is probably her best album in over a decade. Half anthemic and half emotion filled rawness. Though it may have more than 4 producers, the album is very cohesive and will translate well on stage.

Yes, Madonna shares occasional introspection, but it is nothing insightful. Seems to coast off of the fact it's a Madonna album than anything else. The majority of songs are indistinguishable among the pop norm. That said, there are a few solid tracks that are worth a listen -- you'll just have to trudge through the 21 (!!!) other songs to find them.… Expand

    So no, not particularly an amazing album, primarily due to the lyrics, regularly ridiculous "yeah we can do drugs and we can smoke weed and we can drink whiskey". Altogether though, Iconic and Joan of Arc better the album from MDNA at least.

    Madonna really does pick up her crown and puts it back on her head in this album. I loved Hard Candy and MDNA but they have nothing on Rebel Heart. Such a well written and we'll produced album. I've had it on repeat since I purchased it. Can't wait for the Tour in december

    This is one of madonna best albums their is a great mix of songs exploring madonna the rebel and the heart some of the songs on this album are her best lyrically and most personal I love this album and I put this up with one of her best albums ever .

    Madonna keeps being the pop genius that she has always been, delivering another brilliant album. "Rebel Heart" surely is on the top 5 of her career. Great Madonna era, let's hope she keeps delivering in the years to come.

    This is her best album since Confessions On A Dance Floor from 2005. Is very mature, ecletic, modern, acoustic, eletronic, all mixed in one of her best album. The Queen of Pop is back! Long live the Queen!

    While I agree this is her best album since COTDF, I feel she could have done better. Afterall, making an album better than those 2 isn't too big a task for her seeing as they were so sub-standard to begin with. Some songs on this album really impressed me and others really annoyed me... there is hardly any in-between. I will give this nothing more than a 7.5 but metacritic won't let me so I'll settle for a 7. It would have been a big 8 if not for those 3 terrible songs I mentioned.

    I was a bit surprised by this one. Living for Love is a great dance track, retro and modern at the same time. But Rebel Heart is more than just dance tracks. It also has a folksy sound to it at times, and a very personal feel. It reminds me a bit of Music, which is one of my fav albums ever. A couple songs are less than stellar, but overall, I adore this album.

    Rebel Heart es sin duda alguna uno de los mejores trabajos de Madonna, y eso, es decir mucho; el disco te hace recorrer y encontrar distintos sentimientos de canción a canción, pero sin perder de vista el sentido del álbum, Madonna nos demuestra una vez más porqué es la Reina del Pop y nos entrega por completo su corazón rebelde.

    If you want to buy an album because 2 songs are good then this is the album for you. The EDM vs Hip hop feel is there in three songs in which the beat switches from EDM to Hip hop a couple of times within each song. Also L4L sounds like she just built a new song on the same Chord Progression as Girl Gone Wild. Girl Gone Wild was not a hit why did she feel a remix to that song would be aIf you want to buy an album because 2 songs are good then this is the album for you.     on that song, you can tell she is just trying to hard. Is Five-O still a thing?

    or on Devil Pray where she sings:

    Yeah, we can get high and we can get stoned
    And we can sniff glue and we can do E and we can drop acid
    Forever be lost with no way home)

    is just mehhh... The song has a good beat. Better lyrics would have been nice. I still feel she is recycling music with this one too. Sounds too much like Don't Tell Me which had an amazing beat with great lyrics. This is a bad remix.

    I could continue with each song on Rebel Heart, but you get my point. It's a great remix album for hardcore Madonna fans, but there is nothing new here. Save your money.    … Expand

    This is probably her best album in over a decade. Half anthemic and half emotion filled rawness. Though it may have more than 4 producers, the album is very cohesive and will translate well on stage.

    The album is really deep and singular.The presence of Diplo, Kayne and other producers does not takes away Madonna's presence and vision, all sounds like Madonna. It feels like the 90's Madonna, always engaged to express herself is back. Its the most concise Madonna album since Music. Every lyric tell us a part of Madonna vision of art, love, sex. Definitely its a masterpiece.

    "Rebel Heart" (Limited Super Deluxe Edition) is by far the best album by Madonna since 2005 "Confessions on a dance floor". No, it's even better than "Confessions"! Every song contains lyrics with deep meaning and emotion. Every track has been produced perfectly. "Rebel Heart" is one of the most intimate Madonna albums. The ballads could have easily be done by The Beatles it's this good! I"Rebel Heart" (Limited Super Deluxe Edition) is by far the best album by Madonna since 2005 "Confessions on a dance floor". No, it's even better than "Confessions"! Every song contains lyrics with deep meaning and emotion. Every track has been produced perfectly. "Rebel Heart" is one of the most intimate Madonna albums.     what a solid amazing album specially after the crap HARD CANDY and electronic non - solid MDNA
    .. we can say the queen is back with a masterpiece cd and even it will not do well in the charts but i knew tht MADGE can do very good pop music

    It, is, Solid. For me, Rebel Heart has been the definition of a grower. I've played this album back to back every day now, some of its tracks for months, and I still find new things and think new things of the same songs. 19 tracks (or 25) can pack too much for the first few listens and sometimes I forget some of the songs are even on the same album, but the more you listen, the more youIt, is, Solid.     I expected that Madonna finally bring an album that had more depth in the lyrics and melodies of a classic pop. Certainly surpassed last two albums , getting alongside with Music. Sounds much better than American Life and lyrically can overcome the Confessions .

    Im soo happy that Madonna giving us music after 30 years. Love every song from this album, devil pray, unapologetic **** holy water and ghosttown are my favorite, addicted should have been in deluxe too

    While the album itself seems like it should have been split into two separate albums as it goes from dance to ballad all to frequently, it is an amazing piece of art. The title track sums up what this album is all about. Where Madonna is and how she feels comfortable now in her life and her music.

Seriously, it seems like the first half was written by Kiesza and the second half by Taylor Swift, so if the album starts with minimal-electro based ballads and pop tracks, then it gets lost in an endless crop circle made of almost tasteless countryish songs.
    It's pretty obvious 'Living For Love' was chosen as the lead single, since it's the only track which has a 100% efficient pop flavor, with its musical composition and dance spirit similar to other female hits like 'Break Free' or 'Applause'. Without 'Living For Loveì and others excellent songs like 'Ghosttown', 'Devil Pray' and 'Aviciicted' (ops! I mean 'Addicted') Rebel Heart would've been a mediocre album, which still doesn't take any particular risk (except for the literally whining bonus track 'Autotune Baby') and we know Madonna loves taking risks so I don't know if maybe some crazy fans could be disappointed about that.
    Featured artists? USELESS.

    Buy Rebel Heart if you enjoy warm music (Ghosttown is really beautiful) but if you were expecting a hot club album, don't buy it! It's not like MDNA!    … Expand

    Rebel Heart is the best of both Madonna worlds, the sexual persona and the true romantic at heart. A true return to form for Madonna. Long live the Queen of pop.
