DogbiscuitFeb 19, 2010Don't give it a zero. 'Drop The World' and the intro to 'Runnin' were kinda good.

MAPSDFeb 4, 2010Anybody who rates this above 3 is either a moron, has absolutely no taste in music whatsoever, is a Lil Wayne fanboy/fangirl, or is pretty much all 3. Now watch the retards come in and try to justify it and give it ratings above 3, like Trist D, Ryan K, Cody, weezy baby, and Rob R. You 5 need to go die in a fire for even thinking that this CD was enjoyable.

Jan 17, 2012Drop The World and one other song were good, but the rest of the album is just a horrible and disgusting mix of rock and pop. WORST ALBUM EVER! I never knew a legend like Lil Wayne could disgrace himself this much.

mattycratMar 19, 2010It's admirable that he tried to enter a genre and establish something, but it didn't work. As for the rating of "0", no way. This is not a good album, but it's not the most awful. It had some redeeming qualities but those qualities fall quite short of the flaws.

Sep 29, 2018Rebirth was a good album for what it is. Honestly some of the "critics" are against rap culture...
-
Sep 18, 2019Very underrated and overhated album, I love every track from Rebirth, but haters gonna hate.

Feb 3, 2020One of my favorite albums of all time damn near flawless minus a couple tracks. One of Wayne's most musical projects also ironically some of the most meaningful lyrics ever from the rap God. American Star, Da Da Da, On Fire, Paradice, Drop the World, Runnin, I'LL DIE FOR YOU, One Way Trip all 10/10. I pray that in year 2030 the world finally understands it.
-
RyanKFeb 3, 2010This album was bound to fail because no one wants to see a rapper sing. To me that is idiot logic. Are there good songs on this cd? The answer is yes. Paradice, Drop the World and One Way Trip are very good songs. There are a couple songs I would say are very bad. I honestly think if you gave these songs to an established rock group and they put this cd out it would be viewed favorably.

TobyB.Mar 13, 2010He can't rap, play an electric guitar or make any type of decent music. Lucky hes in jail now so he can't destroy are ears with shit like that, it's all autotuned and patched up. Horrible, just piss-off and stay in jail forever!

SaiM.Apr 5, 2010I didn't get into the album that much when i first heard it. later on it grew on me and lil wayne is a genius with his catchy phrases. sure lil wayne uses auto tune and vocoders but who doesn't?

TristDFeb 3, 2010Hey cut him some slack. He was just having fun. Yes, the album sounds terrible but weezy is a genius and he'll make up for it on Tha Carter IV.

For the most part, though, Rebirth underlines what he can't: the problem of rap-metal remains unsolvable, even by him.
-
When he emerged from his stupor, he announced that he was giving up rap to make a guitar album. Which brings us to ‘Rebirth’, a shlock-rock record so absurd it makes Alien Ant Farm seem like a legitimate musical venture.
-
The problem is that Wayne has very questionable taste in rock. He splutters and wails over tracks stuffed with aggro stomp and bland riffage; it sounds like he's been holing up with a bunch of Spymob and Incubus records.
