    The quintessential heartbreak album from Taylor Swift couldn't be anything short of a masterpiece so it's no surprise that this has already cemented itself as a musical masterpiece and a highlight of Taylor's career.

    Red is a lyrical masterpiece and it perfectly set up her next album. My fav tracks from the album are Red, The Last Time, All To Well, State of Grace, and Holy Ground. The only track I'm not a big fan of is I Knew You Were Trouble only because it didn't age that well besides that okay song and amazing album.

    Overall red is a very strong album. The production is amazing, specially in tracks with contrast between pop and country. My one problem with it is the amount of fillers in it! It’s a very long album with some of Taylor’s best work. But for every “All too well” there is a “Stay Stay Stay”. It just makes is a bit incohesive and a lot to take in.

    It is amazing to see how far back in her career Taylor hinted everything she would later come to do with her music. She went pop, went Indi folk, and the amazing writing on red stayed permanent for the rest of Swift's career, of course that stayed intact after all she is one of the Greatest songwriters.

    Many thought Red wasn't cohesive enough to win Album of the Year at the 2014 Grammy Awards (it should have won) that was the point of it, Red was a rollercoaster of an album because it mimicked the relationship and state of mind that Taylor was in at the time, perfectly capturing every emotion into a song.     Looking at the way Swift think about this album is extremely sad and painful. Red in general talks about the different types of feelings associating with the color red, but Taylor tell this with the mosts heartbroken histories. While you are listening to every single song, the feeling of anguish and sadness is scary.     Her best album yup yup. All too well remains her best track 5. I love how the album was "happy, free, confused and lonely at the same time". Although it's cohesive enough, it's still one of her best work. She really gave us one of the best album last decade.

    Red has my least favorite singles of her albums (though undeniably catchy), but it also has some of the most amazing, heart-wrenching songs in her entire discography, including arguably the best song she's ever written, All Too Well.

Then IKYWT came out, and I was obsessed with it. And then 22 and Everything Has Changed. Up until 2017, I didn't know a thing about her non-singles.     I am going to start this review by saying that I know Taylor is currently releasing her albums again, and that she already did release the new version "Red", and that should be the one I have to listen to, but I want to check her original projects first how different they are.     So after listening to "reputation" and "1989" and liking them very much LOL, I got curious and decided to check another of her albums, so I decided to do it with the album that is considered one of her best records by several people and experts. Let me start by saying that I didn't enjoy this album as much as I did enjoy the ones I mentioned before, but that doesn't it is a bad record. The production and the melodies are things that were very well executed, but I think what really stands out the most here is the songwriting. There were some lines that really surprised me, and they let you know how personal and emotional this album is, but as I said before, I didn't really enjoy this album much, and that is because there are some songs that are just boring and have basically zero emotion, also, there are some parts when her voice gets annoying, and you kinda want her to shut up, but regardless of that, I think this is a good album.    … Expand

    Terrible basic and boring, pure trash. One of her worst albums of all time. This was such a generic boring album like the rest of her albums and had no good songs. They all sound the same and give NO GOOD VOCALS. She’s a terrible singer and a boring artist overall. TRASH !
