It’s hardly groundbreaking in the way that Eno often was, and though it is pleasant, Reflection even falls short of the blissful ebullience present in the Eno + Hyde albums.

It's an atmospheric and absorbing piece, a deep, dark pool of music. [Mar 2017, p.108]

It’s maybe not something to play every day, but an ideal companion piece for when you’re feeling more contemplative than usual.

This techno-utopian lift music, while captivating, is not exactly worthy of eternity.

The overall effect is deeply, magnificently peaceful, meditative, even; ambient certainly monopolises certain sections of the thesaurus.

It vaguely reminds me of "Discreet Music", only that there are no beautiful synth tones, or melodies, or patterns to be found, or a decent sense of when track lengths are going out of control. Sounds like a failed experiment that shouldn't have been released like this. Full Review »
