Stunning from start to finish. Darker and more peculiar than her incredible debut, and yet it works just as well. Ren's voice is timeless and calmly powerful, the songs build with each listen, and the production is classic. Whilst a few more up-tempo tracks would have been welcomed, overall it's brilliant. This album was very much the soundtrack to my Covid lockdown - it'll always be veryStunning from start to finish. Darker and more peculiar than her incredible debut, and yet it works just as well. A rich, gothic record, steeped in sensuality. [Jun 2020, p.29]

Stoddart has obviously brought out a new, more experimental side to Harvieu, as Revel In The Drama is a much richer listen than Through The Night.

The decidedly straightforward "Curves & Swerves" and the haunting, string-backed "You Don’t Know Me" - are amongst the album’s best. These highlights point to Harvieu as a voice in English music which has been missed and is more than welcome back, and she sounds like someone intent on spinning a rare second chance into something that will stick.
