Run Around The Sun retains much of that same flavour [of Strike A Match], continuing to base the duo’s agitated progressions at the core of their sound.

These ebullient songs are clearly a joy for both the listener and the band.

It's another triumphantly jubilant album by a band who are second to none when it comes to that kind of thing.

Speed is perhaps the point here; whereas 2017’s Strike a Match punctuated energetic pacing with more meandering tracks, Run Around the Sun barely stops for breath.

It's the change of pace and mood on the reflective "How Far" that marks Run Around The Sun as a real advance. [Jul 2019, p.34]

Much like their previous releases, Run Around the Sun is a collection of delightful, sunshine-soaked fuzz-pop.

Run Around the Sun is an entertaining, enjoyable album from beginning to end. Stylistically Sacred Paws usually stick to uptempo, bright songs, but their basic sound is unusual enough that the similar-sounding songs aren't a detriment. Aggs' guitar style.
