Lights is my absolute favorite musician of all time. every album she releases is a breath of fresh air and addition to my ever growing albums by her. Siberia while very different from The Listening is absolutely amazing it mixes synth, pop and dubstep in a beautiful harmony that anyone can enjoy!

Taking the lyrical poetry of The Listening and skipping past its auto-tuned hiccups, Lights has created an album worthy of its praise. Shamefully this is a gem of an album that has gone virtually unnoticed by the pop world. Expand

one of the most underrated albums of 2011, honestly this is the best electropop album of the year, it´s mature, original, emotional and incredibly catchy, every song is pure perfection, a mix of electropop, synthpop and dubstep, better than the annoying The Listening, she needs more attention, i can´t understand why people don´t care about her (too much Guetta & Skrillexone of the most underrated albums of 2011, honestly this is the best electropop album of the year, it´s mature, original, emotional and incredibly catchy, every song is pure perfection, a mix of electropop, synthpop and dubstep, better than the annoying The Listening, she needs more attention, i can´t understand why people don´t care about her (too much Guetta & Skrillex trash)

The bulk of the album's 14 tracks find her playing it safe with a helium-voiced squeak reminiscent of (take your pick) Gwen Stefani, Santigold, Kate Bush or Cyndi Lauper. [Nov 2011, p.97]

Lights is at times let down by this lack of variation.

Sadly, Siberia is lacking any genuine spark.
