Juxtaposing the escape provided by club culture's immediacy with the harsh realities confronted in the lab, Significant Changes sets a reality check to something danceable, but its success is wholly reliant on Jayda G's balanced presentation and steadfast commitment to both missions, tonal shifts like "Orca's Reprise" providing chill-out wind-downs for the party while the club anthems provide some sorely needed release.

Significant Changes may well plunge you below the surface but by the time you reach final track Conclusion, tying in perfectly with the album's overriding scientific theme, we're ever confident that even deeper sounds are still to come from Jayda G.

Significant Changes is a superb album which balances a concern for the planet with a shameless urge to have fun, all representing a sincere, unconquerable love of life.

As a platform for further discussion and as a funky, hip shaking, unifying electronic album, Significant Changes is a triumph.

Significant Changes is a brilliant album that merges Jayda’s parallel worlds. [Apr 2019, p.65]

This album might not save the world or slow down the steady decline of our rainforests, but perhaps it will raise a little awareness, bring a bit of hope, and create a whole lot of smiles for all of those that hear it.

Jayda G is a Canadian Dj based in Berlin with a very interesting history. Recently graduated from a Master in Resource and Environmental Management specializing in Environmental Toxicology in the same year in which she ended recording this album, Jayda is a very intelligent girl. As a Dj, she shows herself as someone very alive and energetic, with a soul that celebrates and dances the rhythm of her life. Her electronic music between disco, club, and kind of funk cheers up people to dance and move, while tracks like "Sunshine In The Valley" and "Renewal" balances the energy of the album with a more smooth and Ambiental style. Likewise, she joins forces with Alexa Dash to sing about her concerns in which she remarks on her environmental points of view and topics like life being a dance floor. The trip might feel small thanks to the easiness of hearing and enjoying her music, but it also is one that a lot of people would like to go through several times. Personally, I'll be waiting with excitement for her next projects to get to know the personality, passion, and aspiration of Jayda G, a woman that, since this album, promises dance, soul, and consciousness.
