  1. While it's not as diverse as Spanish Dance Troupe or as immediate as How I Long to Feel That Summer in My Heart, Sleep/Holiday is just as lovely and heartfelt, and another fine addition to Gorky's Zygotic Mynci's body of work.
  2. 80
This is mostly acoustic guitars lovingly plucked, drums delicately brushed, fiddles softly sawn. [Oct 2003, p.113]
  3. A record of truly original and moving songwriting.
  4. Where they used to be more wild and interesting they seem to have mellowed with age.

Another great album from perhaps the most underrated band in the world. If there was any justice this band would have a string of hits to their name...one of the greatest bands of our generation Expand

First off, I love this band. Euros childs has one of the most unique/beautiful voices in music today. While this isn't a perfect album, it has a good amount of perfection to enjoy. "happiness" is easily the best Gorky's song since "face like summer", and encapsules the beauty that this band can create. Newcommers should first hear Barafundle, but this, and every other album this band has created is well worth anybodies attention. Expand
