O Smile possui músicas muito boas, das quais merecem maior atenção Not The End of The World, Teary Eyes e Cry About it Later, que são músicas perfeitas.

    I am not sure why are the critic reviews so harsh? I can speak for myself and other that this album was just wonderful and filled up with many good messages and rhythm -the kind of rhythm you look up when you’re willing to hear Katy Perry’s music. I can see here that everyone is loving the album at its own way and I’m sure this is her best work since witness wasn’t really much of a goodI am not sure why are the critic reviews so harsh? I can speak for myself and other that this album was just wonderful and filled up with many good messages and rhythm -the kind of rhythm you look up when you’re willing to hear Katy Perry’s music. I can see here that everyone is loving the album at its own way and I’m sure this is her best work since witness wasn’t really much of a good thing. The “expert” critics are just unnecessarily harsh over Katy Perry rather than anything else and that gives me a very bitter taste of this website in general. I hope metacritic does something about it because it suddenly stopped being a normal critic to become child’s play.… Expand

    The songs are so good and so catchy. Katy Perry is one of the few artists that can reinvente herself with ease. She brings back her Teenage Dream vibes with SMILE. It’s maybe her best album. Cry about it later and Not the end of the world are my favorites songs right now.

    The critics are absolutely wrong. This album has many hits. And the music and lyrics are top notch compare to her peer artists. After listening to it I have no doubt it will perform just as well if not better then her other great albums Teenager Dreams and Prism.

    "Smile" is fun and at the same time is deep. It's the crossover of a mature Katy after "Witness" with the innocent Perry of "Prism" and "Teenage Dream". "Teary Eyes", "Tucked" and "Harleys in Hawaii" are the masterpiece of the album and the proof that Katy still can give us a true bop.

    Only Love- another very personal song. I feel that Katy exposed herself in this one, just made herself vulnerable. A true emotional song.

    This album is a beast!
    Yes, it is a classic pop album, but it is amazing at we really needed one of these again. It really brings your smile back ;))

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    While Perry finds the occasional moment of quality here (Smile and Tucked both feel like the best possible music we could get from Katy Perry in 2020), Smile is an album searching for an identity—and when it fails, it falls back on lazy writing.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
