Over seven tracks, the enduring Gainesville quintet remains reliable, delivering trademark "whoa-oh"s and horn blasts that surge with an undeniably positive vibe.

So it's not really that different, but it's still really good. [Mar 2017, p.82]

For those unfamiliar with the band’s at times world-class back catalogue, this disc is a fine--if fleeting--new entry point.

Too often, each song's relentless march toward the kind of chorus you can imagine providing the soundtrack for a bevy of beautiful, suburban cheerleaders is too much to take. [4 Feb 2017, p.52]

Doesn't get any better than this!

Less Than Jake has been releasing great albums in the past few years, but this EP really stands out.

Less Than Jake has been releasing great albums in the past few years, but this EP really stands out.

The seven track EP has a little bit of everything fans love about the band, including slow reggae, fast paced punk and obviously the good old ska. So far my favourites are "Whatever the Weather" and "Years of Living Dangerously", but I've been listening to the album for the past couple of weeks and all the songs are catchy and great lyrically.

If you're a fan, buy the album NOW. If you've never heard of Less Than Jake, it's time to listen to this awesome band.

After 25 years of pioneering the Ska Punk scene they always seem to deliver albums with charm, passion and a great sense of storytelling. Their latest album release “Sound The Alarm” is no different. Only 7 tracks and roughly 20 minutes long the album delivers everything you have come to expect from a Less than Jake album, fast paced punk like "Call to Arms" and "Bomb Drop" to classic Less Than Jake mid tempo gems like "Welcome to My Life" and "Years of Living Dangerously." What I love most about this album is that bottom line it fun. No doubt life long fans will appreciate and enjoy every track while new fans will certainly use this album has a platform to dive into the bands entire discography spanning almost 2 decades. We highly recommend this album! Also love the album cover representing each song on the album! Expand
