There are diversions into pop and hardcore dancehall but overall it's a strongly enticing release. [Dec 2017, p.91]

His first solo album in a decade is an inspiring 18-track collection, flexing authority on roots jams and dancehall bangers, political meditations, and come-ons.

Stony Hill is one of the best Reggae albums of this year. The first tracks are mostly Rap but after Time travel the songs become quite chilledStony Hill is one of the best Reggae albums of this year. The first tracks are mostly Rap but after Time travel the songs become quite chilled and then Upholstery comes on and gives you heavy Rap. But after that, the album becomes chilled again.
The only problem I have with this album is that songs
sometimes get repetitive, but overall it's a great album worth listening to.
