Mar 20, 2013Great album. can listen to it over and over...there's a couple of songs I skip through, but overall better than most crap out there. The drumming is very prominent and is worth listening to if you are a fan of buddy rich and john bonham,

Aug 26, 2010This record reflects and brings to a boil all releases since Elephant Riders. Clutch never disappoints....well, unless you miss a shogun named...
I sure do. -
JacobHAug 30, 2009Great album, no it's not "The elephant riders" but these guys always please. The storytelling is there, and I cant help from tapping my foot and nodding my head to their infectious grooves. Nice, fresh, clean.

NeilDAug 14, 2009Its no Blast Tyrant or Elephant Riders, but as a diehard fan of the band, its understandable to change it up. A very all around strong album. No one can compete with Fallon anyway!

DanF.Aug 3, 2009Just saw them play this album at the HOB. Clutch rules in my book. This album is just as good as the 8+ others.

Even if it's a little less lively, it's still pretty typical Clutch: always heavy, always solid, and ideal background music for driving a semi-truck through a swamp.
-
Alternative PressIt's one of their strongest albums, which is saying a lot for a band who've been workhorses for the past two decades. [Aug 2009, p.106]

While the harsher edges of their previous efforts have been sanded off long ago, frontman Neil Fallon still has a bucketload of fire and brimstone left in his belly and no-one does the possessed preacher man schtick quite like him.
