You’ll hear more of the 924 Gilman Street punk raucous of bands like Op Ivy, Blatz and Black Fork on these dozen cuts. And that’s a great thing. This is punk rock for 2013, and it’s still fabulous.

Most of the songs on this album consist of Bogart endlessly repeating the titles as on “Rat Bag” and “Egg Raid on Mojo” but the songs are in-your-face and catchy and at less than two minutes, they don’t overstay their welcome.

Hunx has returned with a reduced lineup of Punx (formerly the Punkettes) and a sophomore full length, Street Punk, which is a far more aggressive endeavor than its predecessor.
